Subject: RE: best glasses?I have the Oakley half-jackets with the transition lenses (customized too ). LOVE them. Absolutely best glasses I have ever worn. They are not cheap, but absolutely worth it. You can wear them in any conditions. They actually grip better the sweatier you get. And the optic clarity is fantastic. Probably cheaper alternatives out there, but put these on your wishlist.
I have heard many people tout safety glasses as cheap alternatives...I would be concerned with UV protection, no? Those glasses arent really designed to block UV rays and that is a bit of a concern when you are in the blazing sun for hours at a time.
And I love when people say "dont spend a lot on a pair of sunglasses as you will most likely lose them or break them at some point". Trust me..you won't. If you spend that kind of coin on something, you tend to keep track of them. |
