I'm a live and let die person. I don't really have an issue with PEDs. Anyone think Arnold Swartznegger didn't use steroids? I don't care. Pro football players been drugging for years. I don't care. awsome, me to......but that's not the issue. the issue is the chronic lying and attempting to destroy those telling/seeking the truth. time for lance to man up and come clean - and get his wallet open to payback ALL of those he defrauded; nike et al have been nice.....so far Who did he defrau? And how?How he has lived his life has not and does not effect me or my family. He is a "celebrity and only has the influence in my life that I give him....which is nil. We can start with CAS and throw in a possible perjury. I'm not sure what if anything he did or didn't give as testimony... but CAS refused to pay him his bonus for #5 with 5 million dollars because of the doping accusations. He sued them and he won his 5 million dollars. If I was CAS, I would be fist in line. I have no doubt any sponsorship deal he made had any provisions of him not doping or give an out to get their money back if he did. One I'm sure they didn't care and two I'm sure Lance would not have signed such a deal. But let me ask you this... if we could go back and know Lance was doping from day one contrary to his cool little Nike ad he put out.... do you think anyone would have cared that he won 7 tours with the best doping system in the peleton? Do you think Livestrong would be anywhere close to where it is today if Lance doped, got cancer, got better, flooded his body with dangerous substances to and win 7 in a row? Do you think anyone would have considered him any sort of an inspiration to the point of giving him $350 million in donations? I highly doubt it |
