$4.35, in all places, Detroit. Pretty freak that short of Germany / Canada, it's the highest priced gas on the board. Wonder why. Not all that excited about it, but I don't use much gas - one tank a month, so I'm not gonna dive into it. 

In RTP, in NC, where I fill the rental car, it's $4.05, for the most part.

My husband travels A LOT, so we get gift cards for Southwest and Marriott at Giant Eagle.  That translates into lots of fuel points which equals $0.00 in payment at the pump when we use the discounts (just about every other fill up--30 gallons).  Yeah, he travels a lot....

Prices are around $3.79/gal in Central Ohio.

My corner gas station is at $4.37 but if you go a few miles towards downtown chicago it is easily $4.65. I took a road trip to FL in June and actually found a gas station on the AL/FL border that had gas for $2.95. I should have taken a picture of it

I've been paying about $4.50 for premium.  We are one of the most expensive markets even though we have several refineries in the county.  Being so close to the Canadian border our prices are artifically high to take advantage of the Canadian's willingness to pay higher prices here which are still lower than in Canada.

Milk price fluctuates almost as much, but we never hear about it in the news.

Likely because a typical family may go through a gallon or two of milk a week.  How many gallons of gas a week do you think the typical family goes through?

Mine holds pretty steady. Been paying $3.79 unless there's a sale. Been about that for almost a year.
