I hate to tell you all this, but I'm not sure I'm going to get anything done this week.  I'm having some knee pain that I've been ignoring, and it's getting worse.  I'm trying to figure out if I need to take the week, and maybe next week, off.  I'll see how the knee feels in the morning.  I hate to let the team down.

I'm definitely NOT going to hit my goal

I honestly disn't think school was going t oget this crazy all at once. I'm still getting out just not nearly as often as I had hoped. I'm doing better at getting swimming time in becasue the kid want to go swim and I can swim and then do homework. It's not like I can leave them in the pool and go run for an hour the lifeguard says he isn't a babysitter.

I really don't want anyone to hurt themselves trying to make their goal.  I'd rather you not be injured and not make your goal than the other way around.  Things come up (like injuries) and life gets busy.  It happens to everyone.  Just do what's reasonable for you.

Hey everyone, we've got three days left!  Let's go out and make the most of it!

I know some people (myself included) may not make their goal.  It's okay with me (hopefully everyone else)...that's part of being a challenge.  But, we should try to do as much as we can by the end of the week.

Hey, life happens.  Even though everyone may not make their goal, I bet that just setting that goal made you think about training more and maybe even got you out there a little more than if you hadn't.  It was fun.  Thanks Artemis for being keeping track of us.

Here's what I have our final numbers at. Great job everyone!! We all put out a good effort and made a lot of progress towards our goals. AZchica made her goal and ClaireAllen was really close. Clearly our goals were really challenges!

Well, we finished in last place.   

Personally, I'm not really that disappointed.  We all set challenging goals and went out there and did as much as we could.  I know I wouldn't have trained as much as I did in September without this challenge.  Plus, it was great to be on a team with everyone!  Keep up the training in October!!
