A friend of mine sent me these quotes, which may have already appeared somewhere on BT.  I'm tempted to post them in the other thread but it wouldn't do any good.

Looks like these people weren't happy about the result.

I still remember the fools who ran out after 2008 saying Obama was going to take their guns away.  How did that work out?

1.  Nice job shifting the goal posts because you guys know you were delusional when you thought Obama was going to ban guns.

2.  Too many guns were making their way to Mexico and other countries not oncluding the ones we sent.  Fast and Furious is a nonsense scandal.  People act like if we hadn't supplied them with guns they wouldn't have gotten them otherwise.  

Yo cruse, acd makes a good point ...4 years later, has Obama even made an attempt to "ban guns?"  Honestly, I should have opened up a gun shop a while back.  They get free advertising from the NRA.  The hysteria being whooped up is incredibly good for guns and ammo shops!  It's like going to a car lot..."Oh, you've gotta buy it today sir!  You won't see prices like this pretty soon!"  Gun manufacturers and gun shops have to be making money hand over fist right about now.

I don't know one person, who 4 years ago or now thought that the gubmnt was going to come and take our guns away.

Do you know anyone who actually thought this? Did people think that the possibility of new federal gun laws were possible with Obama, absolutely. That's a lot different that what add said.

I don't know why and I'd probably get booted from the site if I started calling other forum members fools and delusional with sweeping generalizations of a group of people.

So let me ask you CD, do you think that in the next four years there will be any change in Federal Gun Law?

As far as people having expectations and them not being met, how many thought there would be immigration law change and "how did that work out for you fools"?
