| Member 41 wichita, kansas | Subject: RE: Team Kansas! - February Run Challenge know the difference between sandbagging and slacker otte. A sandbagger does more than he say he will such as pakman. He deliberately says he will do a small number and then does a lot, whether its undersetimation or deliberate, its sandbagging. Then you have somebody as myself that hates to run but does it because he is forced to. Then you have low number of miles that aren't even close to being reached, this is a slacker. Whats sad is when a slacker beats you in a race when he hasn't done much if any training. |

But then again you have a few sandbaggers here, I don't know if I could live with that I'm not sure if you're just trying to pump up team spirit (a worthwhile goal), but I don't think HALF the team is underperforming...it's a tough month to run in damn windy Kansas...those people in California, Texas, and Florida should have to run twice as much as us to get credit! I'm in Texas for the weekend, so I'll try to slip in a few of these easy miles for the team.  |
