Renee - 2006-02-17 4:40 PM tmwelshy - 2006-02-17 2:24 PM Renee - I'm planning on walking the aid stations - my guess is that since my longest run is 16 miles, at about 18 I'll be in some trouble, push through it/walk-run until about 22 and then have to pull off some magical feat of inner strength to get across the finish line. That's my epic plan - finish time I hope in under 6 hours. Heh, we have similar plans! My longest run was 19 miles, so I figure by mile 22 I will be hurting. I'll have Max-a-million to get me moving, tapping my inner strength to get me through the last 6 miles. I'm hoping for ~ 6 hour run (poor Max). Good luck, Thomas! As I blew past her she finally faced the aweful fact that she couldn't compete with all that is Welshy and stopped, broken. |
