LMAO! That was great. Good job Jim. I guess your sense of humor makes up for your small cap. Good job for trying to make this thread about you and not Janelle.

run4yrlif - 2005-11-18 8:33 AMDrok? Cononsance? Are you speaking Klingon?

Who's the drok now?

And you called me out on MY spelling. Wow. I'm speechless.

Whew. That's good stuff. I absolutely kill myself.

I think I'm killing ya'll!

You're confusing 3558 with newbie.
I hope this isn't directed towards me? I'd hate to have to start on you this early.

You're not newbie. Newbie, umm, well, he hasn't been around in awhile. Congrats, 3558. Someday I hope to be nearly as cool as you and reach 1,000 Maybe, when you hit 2,000, you could write a speech with 2000 actually characters and make all the math people happy. Me, I don't like to think this early in the morning!

Subject: RE: NUMBER 1000

Ok- 3558 has asked me to revise his speech.  So here's MY version:

“I know sometimes I act stupid and I say stupid things, but Janelle kept me around and stuck up for me when other people would have said "drop that bum". You give me nothing but respect and burrito humor. You know it's kinda hard for me to say these kinda things, cuz I get tongue tied around hot tri girls like you.  It ain't my way, but if I could just unzip myself out of this tri suit and step out and be someone else, I'd wanna be you. You're all heart, and you Rock runnergirl “  I would be honored to be your date to your company Christmas party- snowflake cookies, or not- I'll go.

That, quite frankly is how I feel about BT and runnergirl.  More importantly though, I was leaving a steamer this morning, and I stumbled upon the most outrageous and preposterous combination of gibberish and marvelous factual knowledge that nobody but runnergirl could teach me, becuase she's so smart and is by far the most excellent speller on this site.  The Roman Numeral for 1000 is “M.”  Nothing out of the ordinary, until you consider this:  M is the 13th letter of a 26 letter alphabet, and 26 divided by 13 is 2.  Amazing runnergirl- you're so smart!  Under normal circumstances that would fall into the realm of mathematical fact (which Janelle is very good at math as well as everything else) but if you take into consideration that 2 is my favorite number, it borders on the verge of eerie coincidence.  You see, there are 2 types of people on BT… those who enjoy COJ like runnergirl (because she's fun) and all the other boring Bt'ers- we'll call them everyone else.  Now, “everyone else” sees COJ as a place where we triathletes waste time and use up precious bandwith, but I see it as a virtual cornucopia of knowledge- especially all of runnergirl's posts and threads.  Knowledge being power, and all things remaining equal, it should be clear to see that I am merely stressing the importance of 1000, or “M.”  Like when Jay-Z (aka runnergirl- those are her initials) said “I got 99 problems but that bastarsd ain’t one,” she was trying to tell us that it's all about “her.”  In this case, M is the first letter of Me, and since runnergirl has helped me get to this point, this post is not all about ME.  It's all about her.   Let’s get back to the point of celebrating my One Thousandth post and giving runnergirl the recognition she deserves, and quite possibly the most useful of all!

Thank you to everyone who has done any of the following:  made fun of me, called me stupid names, taken Chipotle’s name in vain (runnergirl is the only one here who understands my loyalty for Chipotle), posted pictures of their a#$, written a limerick (janelle's are the best!), virtually patted me on the butt as I crossed the finish line or otherwise offered words of encouragement.  Runnerigrl is great.  Peace out.

It's 1000 posts for 3558
that may be a lot...but some will debate
the posts are all about fun
nothing about swim, bike or run
but to those on COJ, he's king and that's great!

I know, I know, to many he's not king. I used a little literary license here for the sake of the limerick and 3558's special day. I had to use my wahoo and wocork something in there otherwise the poor limerick would have too much consonance and make me feel like a drok.

"Consonants" is the correct spelling.
"Dork" is the correct spelling.

Did I mis-spell your brutal mis-spelling of the word consonants? I think the audience understood.

Anyone else still celebrating MY,   Scott's special day?  I have deliberately mispelled as many words as possible to honor this special day.  i am trying to mispell 1,000 words troday in his honotr.  So I'll  just let myu fingers keep moving on the keyboard and won't go back and edit my posts.  I think either Comet or Jim has been keeping track of my mispelled words.  What am I up to now guys?

Any wocorkers on this site are going to have to answer to me. They'll be droks when I'm through with them. Their consonance will be all messed up.

Speaking of wocork...I've wocorked the cryptic 1000 post message on and off all day, and I am coming up with nothing...I have been outsmarted.
