and 26 divided by 13 is 2.

It's kind of sad that you call yourselves math geeks.   This was my 1000th post, and it had 365 words.  I left you that neat little equation above, I just figured you would be able to rearrange some signs.  Go like this:  1000+365+26+13+2.   Tell me what you get...

1406- that's so clever Scott!  That's how many burritos you eat in a year.  Who would have ever guessed?

WHY didn't I THINK of that. Interesting though, and kudos to Jim for heading in the right direction right away.

Maybe it is just me but I do math for a living, I come to COJ to forget my useless existance of a job. Great code though, would have been better as a anagram than with numbers.

Congratulations Scott on your 1000 posts, I hope to grow up like you, at least that is my plan.

I think ya'll were trying to hard.  It's one of those things- you have to look at the whole forest, not just one tree.

Overthinking? NEVER.

Notice how he CHANGED his style from numerals to writing out the numbers in text in the last lines. That's the key to the REAL, subliminal message that's hidden in this otherwise gracious speech. Probably spelled backwards using binary spells "3558 is King of COJ" or something like that.

A clear example of the difference between mathematics and numerology? Or astronomy and astrology?
