About 35-40 (I am 25) and he proceeds to sidle up to my desk and ask me if he could have his appointment with me rather than the person who he's scheduled to see. He also points out that I am not wearing a wedding ring and, lucky for me, neither is he! (boy, did I swoon then!) I told him that I wouldn't be able to help him but I would let my coworker know that he was here. While they met, he kept staring at me from her office and told my coworker that he should take me out on a date. When they finished with their meeting, I was conveniently away from my desk. By the time I got back, I had someone waiting for me AND this guy was standing there. With my client in the room, he proceeded to ask me if I was ignoring him by not being at my desk (which I was), then asked me out. When I told him that I wasn't interested, he looked SHOCKED! So, that's my lovely pickup story from yesterday.... |

Otherwise, the lesson of the day is that guys don't want to be asked out! Or third choice, maybe it's me (but, my ego is way too big to think that's the case! ) So I have resorted to not dating!  |

While I do believe that kind of venue would be fun for all involved, I personally don't believe that there should be a singles/hookup/dating forum here at BT. If there is, then I think Ron should make some money off of it to improve the other areas of the site!! People pay good money for that kind of service elsewhere You can always PM your little hottie friend to be also, just to get started....it's not like people on here don't flirt with each other anyways - it's all so transparent. Otherwise take it to the outdoor/active life dating ads. I've seen them in my Boston Sports magazine, and I know they are nationwide. I'm not saying this just because I'm married and not looking, but because its my own opinion. |
