I'm in and hotel is booked.  After seeing the on-site line this morning I didn't think there was any way it would make it to online.  Congrats to those that got in.

Just to let you know - there were 1875 total registrations this morning, prior to the opening of online registration.  Unreal!  It was busy.  I was one of the volunteers getting you guys in!

If you need/want lodging for 2009:

All of the immediately close hotels are booked ( or show no rooms available ).

Get while the gettin's good!

I am in again (signed up saturday).  I can't believe it didn't sell out on site.  There were a TON of people in line this morning when we went to get our stuff.  If you were out in the rain in that line I feel bad for you.  Congrats to all who got in!  I think I will take a week off before I start training again

I am in for my first IM next year!!!   After volunteering this weekend, I can't wait!  Hotel booked too!!  I was in the first 100 volunteers in line, and by the time I got to the computers to book a room, quite a few of the walking distance hotels were booked... ended up at the Concourse... didn't check it out while I was there, but someone in line with me said it was a good option for close in...

I wonder if I signed you up that morning.  The first 6 out of 10 persons that I took had a Minnesota driver's license.

Damn!, I drove 10 hours through the night to get there and wait 2 hours in line, then have breakfast and drive another 10 hours home.  No sleep for 36 hours and a 23 hour car ride in the pouring rain.  I registered for Lake Placid the same way, and it sold out.  I was worried that this one would too.  I should have tempted fate and waited for the online registration.  Congrats st whoever got in online.  Your much smarter than me.
