Subject: RE: Merry Christmas to Yourself ChallengeHi. This is my first challenge. Heck, this is my first post at BT. I've went from complete inactivity (I was also a smoker) one year ago to the point where I (slowly) did my first sprint tri 3 weeks ago. My goal has been to get healthier and lose weight. I've been successful on the first but I still am about the same weight I was when I started, probably because my drastic change in activity level led to increased eating. The good news is that I haven't GAINED any weight in the last year, which I had been doing steadily previously. Though the weight has shifted and I'm getting more muscular, I'm still not losing so I hope that this helps me. Right now I'm at around 240 (I don't own a scale... I guess that's something I should get ). I think I need to lose about 70 lbs to be at a healthy weight for a 6'1" female, but I should only lose 2 lbs a week right? So that's losing 26 lbs, right? So my X-mas goal is 214. |
