Subject: RE: Pleasant Training Day 7/11Here's what my training plan says for Saturday: 2h 30m bike 15 min run (brick ) 1h 20m / 4000m swim (apparently later in the day ) I will NOT be doing 4000m on Saturday, but it gives me a little giggle to think that to begin my HIM taper, I'm supposed to do twice the swim distance the week before the race. Who the heck writes these things? (It's one of the BT HIM training plans ). Instead, on Saturday I'll do the 30-45 minute swim that Brian's suggesting, followed by 2 hours or so on the bike and a 15 minute run. And I am also doing the Chino Valley triathlon on Sunday (but it's an itty bitty tri -- 300m/15mi/3mi ). So two tri's in one weekend, the weekend before Vineman! I think I'll sleep in on Monday!  |
