Chatfield Welcome Picnic- what day? (Page 2)

I'll bring a blue 10' x10' quik shade, just in case.  Wearing my 5430 souvenir jersey...

Oh, and I'll be another one of those people at the swim beach with a bike

Couldn't make it for the ride but came out for the picnic.  Beka66 and I walked around the swim beach for 45 min looking for blue shade, balloons, a pink bike and red tank top but never found you.  Where were you hiding?

Like Travis said, we were behind schedule, the red tank top was rolling down the canyon, and the blue shade was in the back of my car - and we were parked ~ 20 yards from the swim beach entrance, so you no doubt missed my USAT sticker and Robin's 3 Feet for Bikes one

Okay, Okay, Okay ... I forgive you for not having a huge balloon bouquet floating above a ginormous blue shade tent with 8 foot signs and a speaker blaring "This is the BT Picnic" ... .  We actually got there around noon so I still can't figure how we didn't nearly run you over in the parking lot.  I'll be sure and take Lauren's cell phone number with me next time.

Were you at the Gravel pond maybe?

Heh heh ... no we weren't at the Gravel Pond.  In fact, we were wondering if that's where you were.  We walked the parking lot, inside the swim beach, outside the swim beach, and then did it 2 more times.  I think we just didn't know who we were looking for.  We stopped and asked each "group" of people if they were the BT crowd.  The funniest part is we could have walked right past you and not even known.  We'll catch you for sure next time!
