Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Team 1 - January Challenge Morning team! Looking forward to a fun and chatty January. Expect to need a taser now and again. I know many of you from prior challenges and look forward to meeting everyone else. BTW, I'm Kim. I'm rehabbing a knee and am on the upside of a nasty cold that lasted over 2 weeks, so December was a bit light. Time to get back on track. Happy New Year! |

I hope I can keep up! Can we smack talk to our own teammies? Nicole, are you going to smack-talk me? Cuz I think that is what I just heard... Why would I want to smack talk you? No, I see we have a teammate who's username is redsoxchick, so since I was born and raised in New York and am a lifelong Yankees fan I think we may "need" to have a little smackdown Maybe we need a challenge-within-a challenge... Anyhoo, I really don't know what I should be focusing on this month, but since I'm always telling myself I should be doing more work on flexibility and core strength I think I should include Pilates and Yoga as part of my goals. ah-hem.... you win ONE measly championship in the '00s and you get all mouthy.... WHATEVER, when you can win 2 in a decade again and we'll chat!! Hmm, 2000 + 2009 = 2; I have 2 other words for you: 27! |

So i had a silly goal of running 100 miles the month of Dec (in prep for my first 1/2 mary on Feb 28th) so i'm at 42 miles; and i think it's safe to say that today is NOT going to be a 58-miler. so that being said; please tazer me often because i only have 58 days until i'm standing on the starting line. Do we have a name yet? and i as i posted on facebook - today is all about HYDRATION =) Hope everyone has a great time at midnight!! |

I know all y'all are responsible - but I'll say it for the lurkers, "If you drink, don't drive, do the watermelon crawl" (I still like that song) Call a friend, call a cab, or have an alternative plan - it's much better in the long, and short run. |
