d2lock - 2010-04-01 4:36 PM I am in for April.  After missing a few days back in February to study for my CPA exam I made it peach through March... and found out this morning I passed my exam; all that is left is an open book ethics exam and some paperwork for the state.

Congrats!  Cool on passing part 1

Thanks.  It was a little hectic waiting all month long for them to release the score, but the hardest part is over.

Another peachy run.  9.32 miles for the month so far.  15*C with a slight breeze today.  Great day for a run!  And, it's supposed to be even nicer tomorrow.

Wooden Bell - 2010-03-31 6:13 AM I'm in this month.  I'm trying to run my 2009 mileage (only about 175 miles) in April, so a very peachy month is definitely needed!

Wooden Bell,
I am curious-175 miles in one month is an incredible amount of mileage-44 miles per week.  If you don't already run a significant base running that length is a recipe for disaster for your body.
Do you log all of your running?  If you do,  I feel a need to caution you as this would be a major increase in mileage and would certainly not be worth the injuries you could incur.

I have not been able to run for two weeks(it's terrible!) and have gradually built up my mileage in the last six months for a half marathon.  Even with that stategy-my miles were a little over a hundred in the last month.  I would just hate for you to have an injury that would cause you to be out of the game for a long length of time.  It's just not worth it.

if you did 73 miles last month and increased by 10% that would be only 80 miles.  Please consider adjusting your goal.

Happy Easter to all peachers.  Got some strength training in yesterday and run/bike/run this AM on my duathlon route.  I clearly have some work to do and only 3 weeks in which to do it
