Alright.  Team Yuengling is now complete.  We have a total of 10 on our team and some stiff competitors going against us.  Renee is acting as administrator and is tallying results that I'll submit to her.  Without her around, there's going to be a huge smack talk void.  So....get out the smack talk and feel free to let all the other teams how miserable Team Yuengling is going to make them.

Scoring looks like its going to be different than previous challenges.  This month, there are 3 sports to deal with instead of only 1.  And....biggest calculation change yet....no extra points for exceeding your goals!!!!  The focus is on hitting all three instead of blowing away a single sport.  Balance is gonna be the key to spanking the competition.  Stay healthy...since we can't exceed 100%, we can't make up any ground for injured team mates.

Official updates to Renee are done on Monday mornings, but I'll try to update when I get a few minutes during the day.  I'll post all updates in this thread in an Excel spreadsheet.  The first is attached.

Inspire the heck out of one another.  It'll help push through the tough days!!!

Hey, Team Ylangylang, good luck this month. I think our secondary goal should be to crush that stupid, annoying duck. He pooped so much in out clubhouse that I had to call the local hazmat team.

For years, Elmer tried to kill Daffy, and never succeeded.  So, go ahead Elmer, give it your best shot.  Team Dingaling will be the ones being crushed!

Quicky goals update  5pm 7/7

As a team we're at 16% overall achievement.  Keep at it....we're going to be getting a huge boost from HookedOnTri when he's all done healing up in the next week or so....and now that Tom's back in town and ENGAGED!!!! he's already started putting up the stats.  Rennick is hammering away....way to go!!!  You're a hell of a pace car Rennick.

Have to admit, I feel a little like a sandbagger I set my goals partly based on what I did last month, and partly based on my training plan. But I guess when you put them side-by-side with last month's totals, the goals look pretty aggressive.

SWIM:     June: 3h 15m          July Goal: 8 hours
BIKE:       June: 7h 23m          July Goal: 12 hours
RUN:       June:  6h 41m          July Goal: 8 hours

Maybe it's not a reflection of goals being set too low, it's a reflection of not skipping workouts

Don't forget....you've got two races this month to contend with.   I think those goals are very aggressive.

Lets go TEAM YUENGLING!

Tomorrow I'll post an official update for Renee.  I did an unofficial tally this evening to see where we stand.  We're just about 33% of the way through July.  We're lagging a little bit...we've accomplished 25% of our goal so far.

Keep those pedals turning, those legs churning, and those arms burning.  WOO HOO!  LOL!  We got a little ground to make up.  Lets get out there and crank out some miles.

I'm not worried in the least boys.  Rick's been on vacation doing the Disney, and Mikey is gearin back up after some scheduled downtime.  You guys both built this into your plans.  I have complete faith in everyone on this team.  We're gonna kick ass!

Denise makes me update it every day to see her progress.  LOL!  It really only take a few seconds since everyone basically has everyone else in their blogs.  I like the little automatic rank thing....Rennick is a tough one to catch.

(Oh, that's right, I have a 5K run with lots of goooooodies, er, gulp, er,  promised at the end coming up Saturday!)

(Made a minor modification to Rennick's settings so it's easier to enter the time)
File is attached.
Rennick is still our amazing pace-setter at 55%!!!! way to go!!

I'm just trying to account for the fact that after my race on Sunday I may not want to move for a week

We're doing great, but we're 42% into the month, so we need to start digging deep. There's a few of us that are slacking off on our biking

Go Team Yuengling!
