We have everything going for us, the best economy in the US, two of the nicest cities in the country to live in Detroit and Flint, and beautiful warm winters.

Just a quick stop by - I do 90% of my posting at work and will return to that place tomorrow after being off since June 3rd to do a 1700 mile bike tour.

Tomorrow starts commutes as well so that will be 2 sessions a day - yeah!!!

mchally - 2010-07-06 9:05 AM Going to get a bike ride in this morning.  I ended up at my parent's house last night without my car.  My bike is currently residing here though.  I will be packing up and riding my bike the 10+ miles home after breakfast.

mchally - 2010-07-06 2:30 PM well it would have been a nice 13 mile ride if I had been able to use my bike.

I overlooked one thing in this plan...the keys to the bike lock were in my car on the other side of town.  It is hard to ride a bike that is locked to a rack.  Bugger.

I borrowed my mom's car for the day and now have the keys to the bike lock.  I won't be back to my parents/bike until late tonight.  Lots of things to do, errands to run all on the other side of town and the other side of Lake Washington.

I will be in the same situation later though...so I plan to do the ride tomorrow morning (or maybe tonight).
