I'm a newbie when it comes to these challenges and the "process"  are we supposed to report our progress or lack of here as well as on our logs? 

Log your time +/or workout in the log. It is used for verification if needed......then put an x on the spreadsheet next to your name for that day.  Team thread is mostly for the secondayr challenge of post padding Wink

You keep doing 20 - 30 minutes a day and you will have abs of steel and nothing like a love handle anywhere! I would end up not being able to move the next day!

SO excited....my work gym just brought in kettle bells in 8 to 35 lb range!!  That's gonna be FUN!!

15 min core last night on TRX  followed by 15 min on indo board watching shark week on discovery last night.  Kat says balance work counts as core training...

Thanks Melindy!  I'll definitely try these.  I'm thinking I'll work through that 200 SitUp program but was needing to get creative for stuff in between.  This helps a lot!

I'm probably the last one to figure this out but just in case, I just found "Core Training" in the Sports tracking section of the training log.  Will help me separate it from the Strength training.

You can add them under "strength" training, too - there's drop-down menus for abs, back, biceps, chest, core, etc.  Then the next drop down menu (for core, anyway), includes pretty much any core exercise you could think of.  (and probably a few you've never heard of, too!)  It's a nice way to keep track of reps, especially. 

And if you tend to do the same exercises each night, there's an option to "save to template".  So once you've entered your workout, click on that button and you'll only have to enter the whole group as one.  So it takes a little time for the first entry, but after that, it's a breeze!

logged 30 min core work last night.  I'll probably continue to do at least 5 min core everyday even after this challenge.  My back has been feeling better doing so. 

HA! I just discovered the spread sheet we are supposed to be updating.  I guess it would help if I read ALL the post regarding this challenge.  We look pretty consistant! 

Way to go team!

We have one person who hasn't used the spreadsheet.  Let me check their logs.....they may not know to use both.....in general, challenge rules allow us to send a gentle PM or inspire but PM is better.  If there is no response after week 2 we talk to Kathrin.  Happens frequently with the challenges to have folks sign up then forget to do it.
