What's an extra zero or two?

Got my goals entered...  Biking will be tough since I'll be gone for one weekend this month for my brother's wedding and gone for another week for vacation.  But I'm counting on wanting to bike while watching the TdF for the rest of the month!

Where are the guys??

I know, I feel like it's that one week on the biggest loser each season when the one person or team has to have the biggest % weight loss against all the other competitors combined.

I'll be an honorary guy if I gets to be with Joe

Good strategy. Hang out with the guys so you have more piglet-contact.

Okay, I heard there was a guy in need of assistance over here.  I really don't have any training goals this month since I have several races and the Tour Challenge.  As such, would it be okay to duplicate my Tour goals here?  This is what I'm thinking:

21 1 hour bike trainer sessions

2:15 or less Olympic distance tri

Nope, you said 150,000.  Written in concrete, so you better started swimming!

Well, at least July has 31 days.  So, that is only 4,840 yards per day.  If you swim 2x days, then you only have to do 2,420 yard sessions.  See, very doable....

I ran 7 miles instead of swimming that laughable amount you guys are trying to schedule for me.  Remind me not to ask you to be my coach!  Sheesh! Tongue out

On a good note...this was my longest run since before I got pneumonia!  It felt good, too!  I think I'm pretty much recovered.  It has taken a long time to come back from being so sick.

So which of you Americans are doing a race on the 4th of July?  I'm doing a 5K.  No chance at a decent time at this one since there are a lot of people on a very narrow trail through a wildlife refuge.  It's a fun race, though.

You *heart* swimming. So does Judi. You just don't want to admit it.

A run through a wildlife refuge? Ooo, sounds cool! Have fun!

Finished the 5K.  It was slightly long and a different course than past years.  Only a quarter mile is on pavement.  The rest is on trail or gravel road.  It's hard to pass people.  It was fun, though.

Got stung by a bee yesterday and now my WHOLE shoulder if red, puffy and throbbing...  Ugh!  Just when I was getting into a groove.  I am dreading a run tonight.  Also having trouble figuring how how I can rotate it to swim anytime soon.  I guess it's good the Y is closed (where the pool is) today.  I can put it off another day...  Undecided
