You're doing great, pleanty of time to get the rest of your yardage in. If any of you Crabs feel so inspired, I could use some help in getting our weekly numbers to Renee Sun night or Monday morning. We'll be out of town for most of the next week and I'm not sure how much internet access we'll have. If not, I'll get us caught up by the end of the month 'cause I know we're all going to meet our goals.
I finished up today with a mind-numbing 5900 yds. I figured out how much I had to go and just kept going. Although, I did have a little help in hitting my 110 lap goal today. (see blog)
Come on everyone. Let's get it done so we can stand (or float) atop the heap of challengers.
2,000 yards today for a total of 15,423. "Real" December Swim Challenge goal of 15,000 achieved Not quite as impressive as Shaun's swim, but I'm happy to be done!
Done! Needed 2050 and churned out 3400 today. Not as impressive as Shaun's challenge finishing swim, but my largest volume so far. The YMCA almost didn't let me swim. My only other option would have been open water - most of the creeks are free of ice now.
Woohoo!!! I've completed the Dec. swim chellenge! 51,100 yards total as of tonight. Might even make it to 60,000 by the end of the year. Way to go everyone!

I am done! Sorry if I made you all nervous. I've been fighting morning sickness but managed to get my last swim in today. Thanks for all the inspiration. Can I go and sleep for the next 7 months now????
Crabs rule!!! Who's up for continuing this in January?? I think Kim has said yes on another thread. I'll probably be in too as it keeps me going to the pool. Who else??
