Jim - rough crowd tonight. I couldn't sing Garth Brooks (or anything else for that matter) to save my life.

RunnerGirl - Neither, I'm on the left coast and can't come out to play

KimJ do you Karaoke?  How about Lara?

If you come for Nevada Passage, we can go to our karaoke bar.  I sing honky tonk (like everyone else in Winnemucca) but Derreck breaks up the cowboy monotony with Bob Marley, Shaggy, and Sean Paul.  His La Bamba brings down the house.

Let's see... I'll be collecting a pint from:

  • ASA22
  • RedCorvette
  • F150TPA (he doesn't know yet)

I need more pints. I mean, I need more friends!

I don't drink.  Any picture you find of me with a beer in my hand is obviously Photoshopped.

I'm a two-pot screamer so after 4 pints I should be swinging from the chandeliers. Or passed out. Just throw a blanket over me.

  • Gullahcracker!

I'm going to have to lineup a cab to take me home to Tampa. That and a designated block and tackle for the sharpie-wielding meanies.

That's all well and good, but it's still swill.

PBR, on the other hand, is cheap and good. Mmmm...PBR...

But Jim, that stuff fueled many a late night jam/practice session for my Power Rock Trio in college... it also drove the classical musicians in the Music Bldg. crazy, the more we drank, the louder we got. And I totally convinced we played BETTER the LOUDER we GOT.

PBR? Black Label? Cheap and good is Yuengling. Speaking of beer.....That's the mark of really good race: one of the water stops is an "alternative beverage" stop. Also, since it's held at a German social club, they had Spaten and Franziskaner on tap. They were almost as good as when I was in Germany......I'd reflect on the memories now, if I had 'em.
