Although windblown and a little cold from -11 windchill, I managed to muscle out 10.75 miles to bring my current total to 17.75 miles out of 80. I'm pleased so far - my long runs gearing up for the Around the Bay 30k race here in Hamilton in March should keep me on track.

Stay the course everyone. Bring home the GOLD Canada!!

Glad to read of some of the people who were in Red/Yellow coming back to post that they are back on pace. I added the colors to the spreadsheet to bring it to everyones attention as to who needs some pushing (PM those individuals persistently until we see some entries in their logs!). Having been in the December Swim Challenge I know that it will likely take 100% completion from everyone so please do your part and stay on pace! If you incur an injury or some other event in your life impacts your training for the month let me know early so that we can discuss your removal from the teams standings. Hopefully nobody will suffer one of these.

Hey people! I hope everyone is feeling good. I'm on my goal path right now. I tried to get in an extra run this week to get a bit ahead, but then had to cancel another one because I went a little to hard on the weights the other day and my hamstrings were screaming. I'm just starting to incorporate weights into training so I'm still trying to figure out what I should be lifting for different exercises. Apparently I did a little to much on Wed . I'm good to go for my long run on Sat though and that should bring me back up close to this weeks goal.

Happy running

I got my short run for the week (17 mins) in last night as scheduled.
All scheduled runs to date are complete.

3" of snow on the ground so the footing was tough, but the run felt good.
(I never thought I would say that......)

Keep running Canucks!!!

So I'm going for a short 5k run tonight. It's not on my schedule but I figure I should give myself a little buffer in case I have to miss a run in the next week or so. Keep up the good work people
