Tell you what, let's see the Crazy Cannucks do my Weds. night workout. In fact I'll throw down the gauntlet and put it out for everyone to try. THEN everyone can see why the ACC Dominators are just that ........ DOMINATING!!

And it's even on a trainer so people don't have to freeze their little toes off while they're getting their butt kicked. Here it is:

Warm up 15 minutes in your 39 x 16 at 100 cadence to get the blood flowing (nice and easy, but of course your resistence is set to the hardest level on your mag. trainer) - should be around 18.5 mph or so.
1 minute in the 53 x 16 at 100 cadence - works out to about 26 mph. (All intervals/rest done at 98 - 102 cadence so not noting it anymore)
1 minute rest in the 39 x 16
2 minutes in the 53/16
2 minutes rest 39/16
3 minutes 53/16
3 minutes rest 39/16
4 minutes 53/16
4 minutes rest 39/16
5 minutes 53/16
5 minutes rest 39/16
4 minutes 53/16
4 minutes rest 39/16
3 minutes 53/16
3 minutes rest 39/16
2 minutes 53/16
2 minutes rest 39/16
1 minute ballz to the wall 53/16, maintain at least 30 mph (about 110 cadence or so)
15 minute cool down in 39/16 at 100

Good for about a 25 mile workout.

Feeling more adventurous?? Then after the 4 minute one start your ladder back down instead of going to the 5 and then go back up again (1,2,3,4,3,2,1,2,3,4,3,2,1). That is good for about a 30 mile workout.

Do this workout some time this week and THEN people can come in here and talk all the smack they want because they will have stepped up to the ACC level!

(Aside - You still need to update that ACC first week number).

It only proves one thing to me ...you did not read the rules and terms of the challenge. I don't have to do all you far out total domination sham. I only have to stick with my plan, sweat as profusely as you are and i can still beat you to the challenge...oh by the way: sweat is sweat! It comes from EFFORT no mater the rest . (this little muffin has seen enough of omega3'S that yapp in their sub zero fat and all...i have enough to deal with the sub zero temps here already)
oh and my sweat smells nicer than yours NA! :P

Nicely Done!!!!

If you notice, the REAL first place team (WCC) doesn' t need to smack talk because while you guys are talking, we are riding

You guys keep up the great work

Darn you know, this does sound like smacktalking... i guess you are riding so much that you are just plain cofused.... as in the words of Global... come up here and see what you get... by the way people... how many of you have gotten snow in the last week and riden outside??? Anybody????

It's not smacktalk when you are in first place...it's just stating the facts.

Enjoy your snow. I'll enjoy my sun and beautiful riding weather.

The only dust being kicked up is by us WCC/Pac 10...and it looks like everybody else is just getting it in the face

I seem to recall that some time back a Canuck said that they were going to be wizzing by everybody else....well, the only wizzing I see is Canucks getting wizzed on.

I haven't been paying attention to the results.

I know we, the WCC/PAC10, were:

     first in the first week

     first in the second week,

maybe we'll be first in the third week.

Dude, you neglect the strategic advantage the SEC has ... we have Hawaii. (Okay so it has been one of the rainiest seasons in Hawaiian history, complete with dams breaking, widespread flooding and a dearth of dry earth to ride upon ... but it cannot rain FOREVER!)

So, the winners of this challenge get to pick the Avatars for the loosing teams right...

Can we do individual avatars for each team...

If we can, what do the rest of my teammates think of something like this for the Canucks....

Oooh, now we are talking some smack!

Think Jerry is going to win the "motivating others" prize as I would not be surprised if our Canadian brothers (and sisters) rode an extra kilometer or two after seeing this.

Btw, have you ever been cussed out in French?  Really doesn't have the same effect as, say, getting cussed out from someone from Brooklyn ...

Hey....how come you are already giving us new avatars when we haven't beaten you yet?

And let's remember that we were civilized and humble in the fact that we did not give you loser avatars that you would otherwise be sporting right now!

edit: and don't you have 52 states already? Way to know how to count.

52, eh? Novia Scotia looks nice ... but not sure where we'd find the other?

Seriously, no worries on the 50 vs. 52 thing. Most Americans would be hard pressed to name how many provinces are in Canada.

Sorry, only 50 states right now....and this isn't your avatar yet, I am just throwing out an idea for my teammates to consider....If anybody on our team thinks of something different for an avatar, then we should see them....either individual loser avatars for each team, or one general avatar.

I don't know what other avatar I would be sporting right now....this is the first competition that I have been in in a long time....I didn't participate in the run challenge, but I guess you guys did pretty good.

I am sorry that my fellow country man got confused about the 50 vs 52 states, but he meant Iraq and Afganistan as other states, but I challenge any one of you americans to any intelligence competition and I bet that we canadians know more about your country than any of you know about our country....

    SO BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!
