Subject: RE: TAN #179-It's smart to use a protecTANt.lisac957 - 2012-08-14 11:51 AM Does anyone else run into this? Put on a committee with people from many areas - am placed here as a subject matter expert. Give recommendation, backed by my management, and it's ignored by the team. Lots of excuses as to why they can't/won't do whatever was recommended. Frustrating. Why am I even on the team??? To provide information and recommendations. Not to tell them exactly what to do... You could be 100% right, but they may have other issues to contend with. I go in, tell them what I think and they can run with it or not. Then I complain behind their backs they didn't listen to me or gloat if the SHOULD have listened to me! That's all you can do. |
