First session in tonight. It's been so long since I've been on the trainer, I forgot that "bike" is green. lol It was a good ride, and I got to catch a little of The Voice.

I would like join the challenge.

It is ironic that I did 30 Minutes on the trainer last night for the first time in ages and now this morning I see this challenge. I took it as a sign and now I can consider myself 1 down for the week.

Got in my first session this morning. It's amazing how out of shape I've gotten in just three short months! :P

Ride #2 done this am. Easy peasy rides this week since I am prepping for a half mary on Sunday and been battling injury for the past couple months and a nasty bug the last week. But I have to admit after not being on my bike for months parts of my body is telling me about it.

Ride #2 for me, as well.  I agree about needing to "break in" the body because working full-time and working on my Master's has kept me in the wrong kind of seat for too long each day.

dsmallacomb - 2012-12-03 8:20 PM I'm in. I've never started or completed a challenge. This is a good one and will start getting my bike workouts ramped up to begin my plan for IMLP!! Are we just keeping track in our own logs? Thanks--Happy December!

Yeah. And check in at least once a week here to talk about your progress. Even if it doesn't go as planned.

It's all good.

Some people like to discuss their workouts. This is a place for that that as well. Combined experience is awesome.

I love to hear about everyone's training.

30 minute session in tonight. Very easy. Like some of you, I am having to build some kind of bike strength back from over a month off.

Another 30 minute session last night.  So the hour I've done in the past two days is an hour more than I have done for the past few months.

wgraves7582 - 2012-12-05 6:39 AM Work Day Commute = 2 sessions and this morning counts as a third because of the crappy headwind I had!!!

The wind here has been horrible, too. Not that I feel it on the trainer . . . but running. Tough to push through.

Charging my battery (after I had to buy a new one for my Tahoe ) for my commute in the morning!

On a side challenge note all CWWC participants - it is going to be wet, windy & cold

They are teasing us with the "S" word possible tomorrow morning.  I'll believe when I see it.  I don't remember any moisture since my wet ride in OctoberFrown

Gonna do a crappy weather back door bragg. I was living in Japan for a few years teaching English. My apartment was far from the train station and public transportation ie: bus was HORRIBLE! I bought a mountain bike and put a basket on it. Then i rode that bike EVERYWHERE. I commuted over 2 hours a day. They have a rainy season that means that it rains for over a month straight.

I'd put my computer bag and clothes in a garbage ba, put on a rain suit (naked underneath) and ride to my schools. I once rode home in a typhoon. They let us go home early because they were evacuating the school. Thank God it was a tail wind all the way home. People thought I was crazy.

Got in my second session last night and my third this morning. Definitely would have never done anything last night if it weren't for this challenge. I'm hoping that this week is the first of many where I really start to focus on getting back in shape, and hopefully shed some of the pounds I've gained in the last few months while I'm at it as well!

You know Kate there is a saying on BT - Picturs or it didn't happen - sounds like you are quite the trooper - come join us in the CWWC!!!!

Dude, I live in Florida now. I will NEVER have to do the crappy winter weather challenge ever :=).  I can send pics of that :=)

I don't have any pics of me in my rain suit... :=( But I do have a pic of a p.e. coach at one of the Japanese public junior high schools smoking a cigarette during class, while his students were running the track.

I was thinking the same thing Tongue out

Our "snow" turned into a few drops of rain and it was 46 degrees when I rode in this morning.

Kate-  You prefer Florida weather to riding in a Typhoon?????
