Veteran 458 , Wisconsin | Subject: RE: Pleasant Prairie Triathlon - International Course : Official Thread Just curious...have you all registered online? I've tried three times but each time (after carefully filling out each part of the form), the last page states my cart is empty and the site won't allow me to register. I DID choose an event. Do you know if this means it's full or do you think this is simply a problem with the website? |

Do you know if this means it's full or do you think this is simply a problem with the website? I'm guessing a problem with the site. I have not tried to sign up yet, but I highly doubt it is full. In fact, the last 2 years I don't believe they've sold out and were taking registration right up to race day. That being said, if you want to sign up now and cannot you may want to drop the RD an email to see if there are "system" issues. Hopefully they can get that fixed! |

I registered online, but that was back in Dec...I do remember that some of the links weren't taking me to the correct signup page, too. I kind of stumbled onto it. |

Member 19 Germantown | Subject: RE: Pleasant Prairie Triathlon - International Course : Official Thread does anyone have info on the terrain? I see they have a map of the course, but no elevation map. I rode the sprint course last year after a swim in lake andrea but curious if there is an elevation map out there somewhere?? |

Regular 90 Libertyville, IL | Subject: RE: Pleasant Prairie Triathlon - International Course : Official Thread found it. http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/1570617 I believe this was the bike course from 2 years ago. and should probably similar to the course this year. Last years course was 2 laps of the sprint course, due to some construction on part of the usual international course.

Oh wow, that's a pretty different course...now I see why people were commenting about the change last year. Is it fair to say people like the "old" course better? |

Member 19 Germantown | Subject: RE: Pleasant Prairie Triathlon - International Course : Official Thread I created a variation on what the map might look like copying the picture they show from 2012. looks like its about 21 miles or so doing the double loop of the sprint course. Any idea if they'll go back to the "old" course this year? |

Regular 90 Libertyville, IL | Subject: RE: Pleasant Prairie Triathlon - International Course : Official Thread Last years bike course was definitely short of the full distance. I don't remember exactly but I think around 21 or 22 miles. Anyone who did last year in a PR - do you count it as a PR with the shortened distance? Or a PR with an *? Or not at all?
