Wow, with work an other stuff I forgot all about this thread. I'm going to head out to Lake Marburg in Hanover, PA to load up on some white perch soon. My son and I have been going and catching a few but nothing huge. I caught an 18.5" largemouth last month but I don't know if I still have a pic of it. We are catch and release on everything except for catfish and white perch.

Oh, I did get a 29" carp bowfishing this year. That was awesome!

We visit our friend's farm in Delaware a few times a year. It's a good chance for my city kid to get some fresh air, chase the dogs and goats around, explore in the woods, drive the tractors, etc.

Last time we were there, we went fishing in their pond, and about ten seconds after he put in his line, this happened:

This is me and my friend Gord in Fiji.  We were there on a working 'holiday'.  He is a vet and I am a vet tech, we were there spaying and neutering wild-ish dogs on the island of Kadavu.  I used my usual 'here fishy fishy fishy' call, Gord and our guide laughed at me, and seconds later I was pulling in the Spanish Mackerel.  They stopped laughing. Laughing  Yes, I caught two, he only caught one.  I get out fishing so rarely; don't really have any friends that fish, and I don't have a boat...  Much of mine is lake fishing from the shoreline...

We had gone out on the boat that morning, but my son hadn't had enough fishing, so later we went to the beach and fished off the jetty. Didn't get much fish but I did get a good shot of him as the sun was setting.
