MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. I failed the September challenge. For October, since the Ghoulies good name is on the line, I will be sure to meet all my goals. I think I have found someone to run with me a couple of evenings each week. She has started to run when her daughter is in ballet class, so I just need to join her those evenings. Woot! Yesterday I had another marathon tennis match. 4 hours, 3 sets and we lost. But again, two sets went to tie-breaker and our opponents were nice, so I feel good about how the match went. Well, all except for one thing...my arm is killing me, so I have taken myself off the roster for the rest of the season. Tennis elbow sucks!!! Dee - sorry to hear about the continuing storms. Amy - glad your computer is finally fixed Ann - sorry to hear about your back Robin - any sunny day is a tough day to work. For some reason my lottery tickets never wins either. Oh, wait, you have to buy one to have the chance of winning. |

It is so pretty out, I really hate to have to spend it working, but the Lottery numbers didn't come in Ann, feel better. Go take a bath, I'll help you out if you need. Dee, Hat that it is stormy still. Isn't your race in a couple of weeks? Hope it clears up for that. It would be uncomfortable running over a bridge in wind and rain. Yep, race is in two weeks. If it is storming like this past weekend, they would probably close the bridge. Hopefully we will not have the high winds. The rain is plenty to deal with. However, it was pretty decent in previous years. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Good morning Ghoulies! I'm WFH today. There is just no way I'd be able to sit in the office for 8 hours, instead I'm at home with my heat pack. Gotta get my goal into the challenge thread. I knew what I wanted it to be, might have to back off just a smidge now because of my back, we'll see. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Dee - Hope the storms die down. The job is wonderful. So far everything is good. I am learning as much as I can, asking lots of questions and going to lots of meetings. Those are really good for listening right now and learning. At a couple of them I have been able to contribute, and that makes me feel good. I am slowing meeting the other librarians in the building (no way I will know them all because there are so many), but the ones I meet are interesting. Some have been here forever, others are fairly new, so it is a nice healthy mix. Ann - Sorry that you still need the heat pack. Hope that it feels better soon. Glad that you can WFH when things like this happen. Robin - Vet trips aren't any fun. I thought you had just taken a cat to the vet a couple of weeks ago. Well, I guess that was Mom's cat. Do you have three cats? For some reason I keep thinking you just had the doggie. Ah, the mind. What a wonderful tool when it works, what a hindrance when it doesn't. No workout for me today as we have a motorcycle meeting this evening, but I will be getting in a workout tomorrow night. |

One we rescued as a teeny kitten thrown from a car in Charlotte. One was abandoned at our house. One was Jim's Dad's cat that we inherited. The last trip to the vet was for Mom's cat. (Who I get to put in a carrier and drive with for 12 hours in two days). Fun times. ' |

Thanks, it probably would, not sure when I'd have the time right now though. I think taking off the weight and getting back in shape will help, too, so that's what I'm going to work on. I want to be strong. It's what I've always wanted, there's no time like the present. |

Elite 4201 washington state | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Ann, you could lay down and have one of the kids roll a tennis/raquet ball on your back. Lay face down with a pillow under your hips to find the most relaxed position possible. You can direct them by telling them where it is tender. This would help release some of the tight muscles at least exterior ones. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. So... remember creepy basketball coach from my daughter's team last winter? My sister went to a required class last night so she can volunteer at her daughter's preschool. The class was a 'don't touch kids inappropriately' class. She told me today that several of the things that I told her made me uncomfortable last year were things to watch for. He won't be her coach this year. Not sure about next year but I will raise a stink if he wants to coach. If he wants to stay under the radar, and not cause his daughter and undue stress or pain he needs to stop insisting to coach girls sports teams. Trust your gut. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Good morning Ghoulies! WFH again today. I got everything ready last night to go into the office this morning, but I had another rough night sleeping, I can't get comfortable, and my back was bothering me when I got up. I know I won't be able to sit all day, and my desk is to low for me to stand at. I did have Keri do the tennis ball massage last night. It helped. Had to have her use a lot of pressure though otherwise it tickled. |
