Thanks for telling your story, John. I actually know exactly how you feel with the frustration of not getting a diagnosis. Hope you come back strong!

+1 for John!

Nice work. I'm late to the party but I'm at about 73 miles and I expect to reach 100 by the end of the month.

Good luck on the race John and have run.

Roland, congrats on reaching the 100 miles.

Jamie, back to training now for that ultra? 50 miles, correct?

118.5 for me.

Yep! It's a little weird taking 2 days per week off, and so far no speed work on my training plan. Got a 16 miler tomorrow! By the way, since we have so many killer runners on here, everyone here should come do monument valley with me. They have a 50 mile, 50k, half marathon, and 4 mile trail run. March 19!!

Thanks guys! Still plugging away @ 126 miles. Super happy I'm starting to taper down my training volume for IMAZ. My legs felt stronger today during my 2 hour LSD run compared to the past few.. Must be due to a shorter long bike ride the day before.

How'd your 16 mile run go Jamie?

I can't do monument valley with you because I have Oceanside 70.3 soon after that, hehe.

The 16 was great, I posted about it in the daily workout thread. The monsoon resulted in me running through shin deep, and occasionally thigh deep water on the trails which was a totally fun experience. I'm up to 108 today. Finish strong everyone!

Yesterday's run put me at 102 miles for the month. I've run at least 100 miles every month in 2015. I plan to do it again in November and then cut back on my running in December so that I can focus a little more on other activities.

Roland, good luck at IMAZ!

Don, that is a lot of high volume months. Totally awesome!

Currently around 145 or so. Hopefully I will get my 8 miler in tomorrow so I should finish just over 150. Next month will be lower volume as I recover from my marathon. Then I'll need to make sure that I'm can pace a friend for 12 to 19 miles for her 50 miler in early Dec. Well, to be honest, I don't think I'll be "pacing" her as much as keeping her company.

Last day, let's hear the totals!

127.5 for me. I can't remember but in either November or December I've got 193 miles on the training schedule, so I kinda want to tack on a little bit extra here and there just to make it to 200.

Good luck in Arizona Roland!

Nice total for this month Jamie! And those are tremendous #'s there you're planning on. I'm gonna be hibernating, hehehe.

And thanks for the best wishes! I'm super excited!

Run: 28h 26m - 154.3 Mi for me.

Roland, will you post your IMAZ number here or in your logs? Since I will never do an IM, I love to stalk...uh, I mean, cheer for others when they are doing the remarkable.

Dang, Jamie, that will be some incredible mileage in December. Bet you will hit every single training day perfectly.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
