Completed my MS150 Bike Ride this weekend. What an AWESOME ride and so cool to help those with MS.

So....150 bike miles for me..... Whew!  It's all downhill from here for my biking.  Thank goodness since I climbed 3800 feet on Saturday's leg.

Go SLUGS!

Eric,
Not that I would expect a pickle to understand the difference, but the item you were referencing was not a "graph" but a "Chart".  While it could have more details, I am sure it would overwhelm someone of your abilities.  What it lacks in detail it makes up for in simplicity.

I am sure Speedball could post something with much more information, but then we would gain such an advantage over the fighting pickles.  Since you would be glued to your computers for the following week attempting to understand all the big numbers being posted by team Banana Slug.

This does not overwhelm your little brains, although it might be more merciful to do that.  Since at least that way you would have an excuse for why you can't keep up with Team Banana Slug.

OK...Slugs...the challenge is on.  We're behind, but I know this will be a comeback week for us.  I commit to be at least above the percentage of the month gone by the end of this week.  That would be 53.3%....my 15 mile long run tomorrow will help.  Make sure you check my log to keep me accountable.

Go Slugs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like I'm holding the team back here. I've got some long rides scheduled to get my numbers close to the sandbagger teams.

This what Speedball tells himself before each race....

Why do I race???? It's because it's what you love, Speedball. It is who you were born to be. And here you sit. Thinking. Well, Speedball is not a thinker. Speedball is a racer. He is a doer, and that's what you need to do. You don't need to think. You need to race. You need speed. You need to go out there, and you need to rev cadence. You need to fire it up. You need to grab ahold of that line between speed and chaos, and you need to wrestle it to the ground like a demon cobra. And then, when the fear rises up in your belly, you use it. And you know that fear is powerful, because it has been there for billions of years. And it is good. And you use it. And you ride it; you ride it like a skeleton horse through the gates of hell, and then you win, Speedball. You WIN! And you don't win for anybody else. You win for you, you know why? Because a man takes what he wants. He takes it all. And you're a man, aren't you? Aren't you?

Eric,
Oh so you are correct about the total percents completed.  However, IF you had checked deeper, something very difficult for a Pickle to do I realize.  You would notice that the Mighty Banana Slugs didn't sandbag, like so many of the teams.

So we are at 27.13% verses your (cough, cough) 41.48%, lets put some REAL numbers to that.  The Silly Dillies have a whopping 944 miles under their bumps.  Whooo an impressive number.  While the Banana Slugs have only.......1399 miles collectively.  (Yeah I know we have ONE person with minutes not miles...but that is beside the point.)  The last time I checked, 1399 was LARGER than 944, but I am sure that escaped your pickled mind.  So while your number may SOUND impressive, I don't think the hot dog pickles can relish their lead for long.

Where's that demon cobra (with determined look on face)....I want him, I want him now.  I'm going to use that demon cobra to whip my skeleton horse.  To whip him into a lather.  To race like I've never raced before.  Where are those gates of hell....where is that finish line.....

wait, I'm at work...never mind...

Hey why look at the "low hanging fruit"?  We aint aiming for the EASY stuff, if we wanted easy we would not have set our goals so high!  You take on the hard stuff, sure you guys are at 42% in total, and when your folks hit their 100%'s they are done, extra miles don't roll over to team mates.

But Team Banana Slug is going to make 100%, so we didn't hit it on the 15th of the month.  So we hit it on the 30th, it just means we set lofty goals and achived them.  We got the fruit at the TOP of the tree, not the crummy low hanging stuff.

Sure we'll get the "Bat people" but they will just be carnage on the way up.

Look out Pickles, you are going to be RELISH once we grind you up!

Hey did you guys know that Griffin tastes a lot like chicken?  And when you add a few slices of pickles, it tastes even better.

The only problem I find is there is nothing you can do with Boll Weevil, and Wombat, those 2 things are next to worthless.

Well maybe you can feed Wombat to Thunderwolf, but I don't know that they would want that either.

Put the boll weevil and wombat in blender along with a cup of ice cream. Hit start.  You have a nice smoothie to wash down the griffin/pickle sandwich....
