Hey team we have 2 new members.

Autumn, and BikegirlDK.  So be sure to welcome them to the team.

So are we the Red Racers?  Or the Red Racer Riders?

I just know we can't be the Red Raiders!

I got a nice bike ride in today - OUTSIDE for once.  Felt so nice and I can't wait for spring.  I'm at 1:50/6:00 for the bike so far.  Should get about an hour on Saturday too.

I'm ok with red racers, but I was thinking 'red ryders' (As in red ryder bb gun from everyone's favorite christmas movie).  I'm boring enough that 'red team' is fine too.

Welcome to the red team!

I'm so glad I joined this challenge, I'm not really sick, but I haven't been feeling the greatest.  Normally, this would be my excuse to sit back and eat chips while watching TV ..... so I could recuperate (yeah right).  But this challenge reminded me that if I don't get my butt moving, I'll be letting all y'all down too.  So I've kept going!  Thank you guys!

Hey, I have  a running injury that is going to keep me from getting my hours in.  I will have to move them over to bike hours.  Can I do that?

I don't think we can move time over.  Although they did just let several people join, so they might allow it.  I will PM the guy organizing the challenge.

Got a nice 7.5 mile in this morning.  Planned recovery run tomorrow of around 3-4 miles.  Picking up the running big time to get that 50.

Thanks Scott!!  Looks good for me.

Team even though it looks like I am 'behind' on the run, I am on target with the training plan.  I will be there in the end.

Lets go huge this month!!! We can all do it.

CJ,
The cut off is Sunday night, so the Monday training will be on next weeks sheet.

My only comment, like Scott's, is that my training plan--for both bike and run--calls for increasing mileage each week, so dividing the total evenly skews the "weekly goal."  It will all come out in the wash, because I am actually a little bit ahead of where the plan says I should be at this point.

How is everyone doing this week?  I'm at about 50% on both the bike and run.

We were in last place this week, but all that matters is the final numbers for the month.  Just stay on plan and get 100% for the month.  Don't worry about the weeklies.

Go Red Team!!

p.s. Happy Valentine's Day

I'll be working hard to make my goals.  I missed 4 miles Sunday and 4 miles last night.  I may try to make the 4 miles up tonight, but I also have a swim I should do.  Not 100% sure what I am going to do about that.

I can do an indoor tri today, I can redo the one I did in Dec, see if I can cut some time on it.  800 yard swim, 12 mile bike and 5K... that might just work.

I don't really worry about weekly totals just because I am barely missing them.  With my running getting back on pace and getting used to the Grad school work load I have come to gripes with my scheduling.

Happy V-day everyone.

Halfway through the month!!!  What worked in the first half? Are you on track?  Lets have a great second half.  What we do in Feburary lays the foundation for the season.

And Scott - You go Mr. INDOORMAN  hope the sprint goes well
