You have got to get rid of that pump - at least get a tiny version for the downtube or go get a CO2 canister and put it in a seat bag...she is way too gorgeous to have that strapped on her!   :-)

Thanks all!! I am very lucky and fortunate and humbled to have gotten this treasure. I obtained it from my (now) "favorite" uncle who is a meticulous person and very into cycling and running. He went into a new Look KG something something and had this one as an "extra" laying around.

     I have only ridden it once but the ride it fantastic. No jarring bumps, no noise, just a whisper down the road. Gotta get used to STI and the fact that I need to REALLY be security conscious. I have always ridden old bikes that weren;t worth stealing.

   Right now, I am dubbing the bike "baby" as in "come on 'baby' just one more hill" or "hold on 'baby' here;s the downhill". I am not too enamored w/ putting 'things' into a gender category (type A suggested PAT, from SNL but I couldn't deal w/ that)

     Ya, the pump thing has to change. CO2 sounds good, mostly ride w/o one except training or long races. 

Beautiful.  It's a shame there's a Boston Red Sox blanket behind the bike though....(hehe - couldn't resist)
