Hi Team, Sorry for being a little late But you can be very happy that I have joined this team !! Whenever me and the Cat have been on the same team, we have NEVER lost a challenge !!! Ok we have only been on the same team once, and she was the Mastermind running the show, not that had anything to do with it

I have to get back into running again after have a longer break since my HIM. My goal is a Marathon at some point in the beginning of next year, as preparation for an eventual IM later next year. While Cat is down under I am up north more precise Reykjavik Iceland. My goal for the month is 110k.

It is another busy day at work.....NOT so I will see what I can do about making a nice masthead to put in our blogs

GO TEAM

Be happy to help. Guess I just assumed since Cat was our leader that Cat would be our leader!

Now get out there and spread that BO! (and run).

6.5 yesterday... easy stuff. 7 more tonight.. Cake.

My september running total was 69 miles... 26.2 of those miles were completed at Ironman Wisconsin. Now I'm Building for the Richmond Marathon..  No fear. If I remain injury free, I got my 120, no problem.

Intervals make the world a better place.

I have been on a few challenges and have NEVER won one (I have never failed to reach my goal).  But I'm starting to think this one will be different.  I think we have the right people to show these other loosers who is number 1.  They can talk the smack talk, but can they walk the walk?  I don't think so.  That's why they are all trolling our thread to see how bad we are going to kick there tails.

I usually start off behind schedule and catch up in the end.  Not this time!  I'm well ahead of schedule and plan to stay that way.  I know others are too.  So come on team, lets get running and make this a very long month for these other manby pamby champion wannabees.

I'm sure Cat will have plenty to keep her busy running the whole challenge.  She will need someone to do the work for each team.

Looks to me like we have a solid team.  Several people trying to get their mojo back may need a little extra encouragement, but a few extra inspires can make a huge difference to someone struggling to get back on track.  We CAN do this!

Hello everyone!

It's a new month and a new beginning for me in the training world.  This challenge came along at the perfect moment and it is clear that I was fortunate to be placed in the winning AND most inspirational group.

My name is Jim but will answer to James, Jimmy or Jimbo since there is already another Jim here.  I have been out of the training loop since July when I did the Tour de France challenge.  I met that challenge and will definitely meet this one.  I am starting a 30-week traninig program (Hal Higdon's) to prepare for my first marathon in April 2008 (the Big Sur Marathon).  Have never run more than 13 miles at a stretch so it will be interesting.  Starting off today with a 1.5 mile run so you can see how far I have to go.....

Tammy is an excellent choice for team captain!

Hey, what's to feel bad about doing 1.5 miles.  I only  did a little over 2 today, but was happy just to be out there again.  You gotta do what's right for you and jumping back in with lower mileage will keep you healthy and happy!   Good luck Jim - I know you're gonna kick butt this challenge!

Love the graphic.  I put it in my logs.  But I had to fix the link to your log.  For some reason it was taking me back to this page.

Right now its keeping me a bit busy

Totally up to the team... but right now Id LOVE it if someone else wouldnt mind taking it up... I think I may have bitten off a little more than I intended with this challenge

Ive run 90 minutes already this week.... even with my knee which Im sitting at work icing right now!

Of course we are!

Cat, if there is something I can do to take some of the pressure off - let me know what I can do to help you.  I'll be happy to be leader and track numbers for the team.  What else?
