TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 Posting in I'm up this week Weighed in at 161.3 - which puts me up 1.3 lbs. Truthfully, I'm not that worried about it. I actually had a pretty good week overall - a little light on the workouts - this thing called work got in the way - oh yeah, that and my addiction to crime show reruns. Second goal - not off to a great start, next week this goal will be met! Favorite fall sport or activity? hmmmm, I'll have to give that some thought |

New user 76 Portland, OR | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 Okay, weird. Last week 199, this week 192. I haven't been drinking enough water so the scale reflects that...I'd say the real loss is more like 2-3 lbs rather than the 7. Even though it's an inflated loss, it's a loss! Yay!!! My other goal didn't work out so well. On to next week... Fav fall sport is hiking, by far. We haven't been for a nice long hike in awhile though, because my daughter can't stand to be in the backpack for very long. So short hikes it is! ;-) |

Member 20 Huntington beach,ca | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 Well first off I have to revise my starting weight, I was 265 last week, not sure how I screwed up and put 255, but that is the god honest truth, simple mistake...( I know, I know , likley story! lol) Starting weight: 265 This week:262 3 big ones!!! I screwed up on the weekly goal also last week, I put an overall finishing goal which is still to be able to run a 5k without stopping. weekly goal: 3 days cycling to work,3 days run,2days swim,2days strength training. favorite fall sport is the same as all year, golf, golf and more , you guessed it...........GOLF!!!!!!! Member 32 Silverthorne, CO | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 This Week: 304 Tracking my meals: 7days Not sure what happened. Somthing must have been off when I weighed myself last friday. Either way, i'm stoked to see some positve results. I've just been focusing on tracking my meals. I think I will adjust my goal. As far as favorit fall activities go, you gota love the fall hikes. The leaves changing and the snow capped summits. Blizzard |

Regular 57 Grand Island, NY | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 I guess I am going to try to join the party... not sure how this all works so I'm just going to wing it. If I can't join up... let me know. Starting weight (2/1/07): 242 Weight as of today (10/5/07): 187 Final goal weight (6/1/08): 145 Been hovering in the 185-192 range for a few weeks now. Having some trouble getting away from this little plateau. Favorite fall sport? Golf is probably first. Though, I've really been enjoying running in the cooler temperatures. After a hot summer, going out for a 45 minute run in some cool, crisp, fresh air is great! |

Veteran 316 Dalgety Bay | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 Aloha all This week 209 - last week 213 Down 4. Didn't t hink I'd lost much this week as I have done little training with looking after my Dad and Mum this week. So surprised! As I have said cycling 13hrs this week took a real nose dive with my Dad in hospital and then let out yesterday. However I am still pleased all round taking all in to consideration. Going to keep secondry goal the same this week and be a little more creative at getting the miles in. Kind of stoked to be getting in sniffing distance of 200. Also got some old pants I had in the wardrobe for years back on and thinking of clearing it out and getting rid of all the stuff that no longer fits! Great to see so many posting first week. Real pat on the back for those who didn't do as well as hoped and still posted. Takes some character people so well done. Those of us who did well please inspire those who need some encouragement. As for fall sport? Well Tro training of course. I signed up for TI course and as I am turning myself (slowly) into a swimmer I'll say swimming to. Mahalo all |

Expert 715 Twin Cities | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 Hello, everyone. Here are my numbers for the week: Starting: 202.6 lbs / 114 cm Hips I was really hoping to see my weight start with the #1 by today, but I am satisfied with the progress. And, favorite fall activity has to be walking/biking in the woods to take in the fall colors. I love the sounds of the leaves falling, as well as crunching when I walk or ride on them. Not to mention the great smells. |

Congrats to everyone - there are some great weeks being posted up here and progress towards our secondary goals. To quote some mindless bimbo - That's HOT. Also, just a quick note - we'll take new comers as long as the challenge is running. Join the fun! Kristen |

Member 64 Waterloo Ontario | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 Hey Beth, keep on the positive, I believe that all the members of this forum will be rooting for each other through this entire three months. I did the Weight Watchers rout last year and dropped 12 lbs then gained it back. I think because there was no accountability nutrition wise this forum allows others to review both nutrition and activity logs which helps keep you honest. Focus on the positives and keep them strong. Rooting for you! Jim |

Expert 1112 I'm a Tennessee girl living in SoCal. | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 Thanks, Kristen! I go to Weight Watchers and my meeting is on Monday at 12:15pm PT. I'll use my weigh from 10/1 as my starting weigh. Should I count my 10/8 weigh in for this week's thread or next? Sorry for so many questions! (Egads! I can't believe I'm sharing this! LOL) - Yes, Beth, even more stepping outside of my comfort zone. Starting weight: 264.6 (Oct. 1, 2007) Goal weight by Dec 28: 245 Other goal: Stick to my C25k training plan here and start swimming (signed up for swim class that starts on Oct. 15) Favorite Fall sport or activity: I live in southern California. What's Fall? Seriously, for me I guess it would be walking and/or running. I love the crispness of the air as temperatures cool down. When I lived in Tennessee (the first 32 years of my life), I used to love to go hiking in the fall. There was just something wonderful about the clean crisp air with the turning leaves. Thanks for letting me play, too! Edited by BunnyB 2007-10-06 11:58 AM |

Regular 112 Delaware | Subject: RE: New You by New Years - Weigh in 10/5 Well, I guess I should change my beginning weight. Got weighed in at Jenny Craig this week and their scale read 173 lbs. That's an 8 lb difference from my scale at home. I could see having a couple lbs difference, but 8 is too much. Will be buying a new scale come pay day. Did well on the stress eating this week except for today. Have a 5K on Nov 17. Thought it's a good way to keep me on the straight & narrow. My fav fall activity? Taking walks at lunchtime. The campus is beautiful this time of year & it's fun watching the squirrels getting ready for winter. They're hiding acorns everywhere. |

It still isn't quite as gorgeous as when Josh was doing it, but I'm working on it. Oweiss & Ceningolmo - I need your goals for loss by 12/28/07 (or New Year's). Congrats on the great week everyone. We had some good losses and even those without losses are looking forward to a loss next week. Keep up the excellent work!!! Keep inspiring each other!!!
