Is there a term for "turning-30-and-it-freaks-me-out crisis"? I guess there's the quarter-life crisis, but I think he's too old for that. I think that's what it is. Although I didn't know him when he turned 10 or 20, so I can't attest to him being freaked out or not. Had a roommate in college who cried for three months because they were turning 21. I vowed to never let my age bother me after that cause that was 3 months that she wasted and will never get back. Don't know how she would have responded to all these other "big age" birthdays. Must be crying yearround by now. |

I finished my summer class now, so I finally have a two month break before I get back at it. I am so excited to just be able to work out, hang out on BT, and well, have a life other than homework! I have successfully completed my first 2 triathlons in the last 2 weeks. My first OWS was tough. It was as if I had never swam before in my life. I then spent some time in a lake before my next one and it went so much better. I really had so much fun! Now I am training for two long course tris, one the first weekend of August and the other the last weekend of August. Catch you all later! Congrats Jeni! Thanks Sal! |
