rlejeune - 2009-06-20 5:02 AM Have a great day everyone!

Best of luck on your race!!!

G'morning Team Tasers!!!. Happy weekend to all. Got in a short 1.8 mile run as the second part of a brick this morning. This brings my total up to 29.68m.

I had a really good bike ride this morning. Last week while on vacation I was forced to do my bike ride on my brother's 45lb knobby tired mountain bike. I got through it OK. Now I am back home and back on my bike. It felt great to be back on not just a road bike but one that fit me correctly. I knew I was having a good run out there, but I was really surprised when I got home a found out that I had turned in my best pace since I was sick early this year (18.1mph). I felt like I've turned a little bit of a corner to where its not such a struggle to keep my training going and I can enjoy it more. I just got a boast of confidence considering my first international coming up in 10 weeks or so.

Of course I did skimp out on my first OWS yesterday. But I have an excuse. I was at the dentist having holes drilled in my head and after I was done I rwally was not in a training mood. I'll get that swim in next Friday.

IMPORTANT CHALLENGE ANNOUNCEMENT!

There are NO "bonuses" this month!

What you run, is what gets recorded on the spreadsheet.

For example:
- You run a 5K race. You record 5K (3.1 miles) on the spreadsheet. (No bonus is given.)
- You run a brick. You record only your running distance on the spreadsheet. (No bonus is given.)
- You complete a tri. You record only your running distance on the spreadsheet. (No bonus is given.)

Also, the maximum you can achieve is 100% of your goal.

If you reach your goal, you may raise it. But you won't earn more than 100%.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask your Team Captain or send me an inspires or PM.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled post padding.

- Dee

So my little tri is nothing like Erica's HIM, but I did good today.   Well, I did ok today -- the temps were horrid, the humidity was incredible, but at least we didn't have any thunderstorms.  And everyone was as pokey as me -- no one could move very fast in this heat!

And I got first in my AG.

Okay, Cheri, let's see, you say, "Well, I did ok..."  and then say, "I got first in my AG."  Those two don't add up!  You rock taking first!  You did fabulous!!!!! Brag a little, you deserve it!
