I think my defences are at an all time low today. I just agreed to host a tupperware party when hardly anyone I know will be interested and I can't really afford any! Might not go down with my husband either, will just have to send him out on his mtb.

Oh, I have an actual useful post to add (well potentially for me anyway). Do any of you have an amazing cure for smelly bike shoes? Mine get worn everyday and they do not smell great right now. I have tried washing the insoles and also febreezing the heck out of them...still smell terrible! Any ideas? (apart from get a new pair....they are on the "when I have the money to do so" list)

Put baking soda into a air permeable bag, put it inside of the shoe and block the foot hole.

I haven't tried this, but baking soda takes the smell out of everything.

Jiminy Crickets!!!  It really is quiet today...

If you have a  dishwasher you can throw them in there and give them a good wash.  If you don't, you can wash them with dish soap and warm water in the sink.  Just squirt a bit of soap, give them a scrub, let them soak for a bit in the hot water, rinse, let them soak for a bit in clean water (to get the last of the soap out), then air dry.  You can speed up the drying process by shoving some newspaper down into the shoe.

Good morning, peeps!  Well...it's morning for me.  I'm sure most all you other USA'ers have been up and at it for awhile.  Working nights tends to skew my perspective.

I'm looking at a swim and a bike workout today.  I'm wondering if I might even get outside on the bike.  It looks nice and sunny out there and I think the 30+ mph winds have moved on.  It's not bad to run in wind like that but no sense even trying to get out on the bike!

We are getting stompped!!! C'mon BT'ers, step it up!!
