Good morning, Dee.

It's me and the pups here today. I'm getting some things done around the house that I have been putting off since the beginning of time. The kids both had orthodontic appointments this morning, so I took them. Keri was up last night, the dogs were up barking most of the night, which is pretty unusual for them. I didn't sleep well so I was having some tachycardia this morning. I don't have anything to do at work today that can't wait until tomorrow.

I hope you get out and get your run in today. All that rain would be depressing. Are you going to take Hannah?

I took the day off. it is the day we find out if they got all of Jim's cancer out.

The weatherman says this is our last pretty day before the rain comes again.  So my plan is to run at the lake today.

I think the ankle might be worse than just a simple sprain.  It is black and blue, and still swollen to the size of an orange.  I can walk on it, just can't bend it.   Thinking of making a Dr. appointment for Friday.  I did this about 10 years ago and it was torn ligaments and they put me in a book for 6 weeks.

Dr. Melissa, any thoughts?

There is an environmental supervisor position opening up. It would be 20,000 bucks more a year but require two days a week in Raleigh. I won't be considered for it I am pretty sure, the guy hiring for it HATES me and always has. (I am female and that is a bad thing in this field). I figured if nothing else, my application will make him sweat. The job isn't my cup of tea, really. Supervising people is not my favorite or strong point,  and one of the people I would be supervising is a complete azz. BUT, they base retirement income on your highest 4 years of pay and I have 4 years left before I can retire, so.....

There have been worse supervisors than I would be, I know, I worked for them. It is okay either way it goes.

I see fat, overweight, obese moms around all the time. I see them at school functions, sporting events, the grocery store. I don't want to be one of them.

I found my strong. Took long enough, but I found it. I AM going to do better. I HAVE TO!

I hear you on the frequent flyer.  I feel like I have been living at the orthopedist for the last 16 months, along with the PT and Chiro.  I've already met my deductible for the year and that was in just 3 months.  Not something I aspire to.

deehtz - 2013-04-04 12:47 AM Well, my break at work didn't pan out for a run.  But I took Hanna for a run when I got home from work.  67*F at 6:00 in the evening.  We ran in our neighborhoods instead of at the lake in town.  But we saw people, dogs, cats, ducks, geese, a goat, chickens, and horses.  So all was good.
