Happy Monday, TAN!   YAyyyyy!!!!!!

yeah, I'm not buying it, either.... where's the coffee?

I tried.  Not working for me either.  I already have idiots standing in my doorway whining.  Off we go into another great week.

I am ready to just go back and record some more music.  It was stressful, but fun at the same time.

<Retired geezer rubbing it in.>  Is it Monday?  Really.  I hadn't noticed.  I think I will go ride my bike this morning.  </Retired geezer rubbing it in.>

Hi kids.  I had a good weekend in Atlanta.  I ran the Pi Mile at Tech.  The taxes are ready to be sent.  Today is Euler's birthday.  I shall celebrate by trying to prove that I can ignore an inconvenient term in an equation.

They do have to get it in the bursa though so I would look at going to an orthopedist for it not a general practice person.

When they did mine for the hip the first moment was painful but they put two pain killers in the shot with the cortisone and I was awesome as soon as those kicked in.

When they did my shoulder they chilled the skin around the shoulder first and it didn't hurt at all.  It went a long way towards helping me get the shoulder rehabbed.

Sadly nothing to add for hip bursitis - I just feel your pain when it comes to... pain.  I had another day today where I couldn't put on my own socks because of my stupid back, which also keeps me up at night.

Pretty much the only time that I can get any good/restful/prolonged sleep is if I take a couple of Aleve right before I go to bed at night combined with some sort of sleep aid.

Figure 4 stretches. Lay flat back on the floor. Take your right foot and bring it to the outside of your left knee. Use your left hand and pull that knee toward the floor. Try to keep your shoulders flat on the floor. Hold for 60 seconds. Then reverse and do the other hip.

according to the vast knowledge of the internets, running on roads/paved paths rather than uneven trails should help...which makes me sad, i love trails!  luckily chicago marathon is flatter than flat and paved.  i'm too young to have to consider quitting running!!

Mine actually came from biking not running so do keep that in mind.

Also the ortho told me to take 2 aleve twice a day for 2 weeks.  Yes that is double the dose but for a limited time it was not a problem.  I still do that when I have a serious joint issue, I just keep it short duration.

That would make me sad too, but in the interest of not feeling pain, I guess it's better to still be able to run albeit on roads than to not be able to run at all?

I seriously need to find a good sports massage therapist in Chicago as my MT from Vancouver wouldn't let me clone him, the jerk.

Hi TAN, wow all the aches and pains, we are getting OLD!

My 4 minutes of jogging, 4 minutes of walking is about all I can tolerate-pathetic, so don't feel too bad for yourselves just yet.  Rest and don't try to overcome the pain yourself is my best advice(seek doc).....there are plenty days left in life to run :-)

The Epic 10 days continues (more epic in my head than in reality) and some people just have zero class!

In addition to that I am going to Vegas on a free plane ticket and room paid up, but my "friend" broke his leg skiing.  So can anyone get a ticket and join me this weekend?  Vegas just does not seem like the place to go alone?!?  Have until tomorrow morning to decide what I am going to do?
