Go Doug!  Great job David....now what's up with Jayne?

Kim looks pretty darned relaxed to me!

Love this. I can't wait to track you two tomorrow! If you get a chance, let us know what you'll be wearing so it will be easier to spot you on the live feed. Have a great day out there!

OK I am back and being an anti-George here in my RR. While thingsa did not go as well as I had hoped I still beat last years time by 12:17! Guess which event was my worst? BTW 5 of the 19 men in my AG were in the top 20! Damn those fast old men!

Looking forward to following the Twins tomorrow!

Great job, Doug! Awesome to see all your work on the swim paying off!

I meant to put this in my RR but forgot: ADVICE: Check over your equipment CAREFULLY before you race!!! A week or 2 ago I replaced my cleats. Everything has been working fine. Today I felt them slipping on the bike. I just went out to the shop and looked them over and all 6 bolts were loose! I should have check ed them sooner. I always have some sort of shoe issue. Luckily I doubt this one cost me any time.

Huge improvement Doug!!  Now you have to figure out how you're going to knock another 12 minutes off next year.

Holy h*!! I hate hills!  I finished my first triathlon this morning.  It ended up being more of a swim-bike-walk, but I finished and I wasn't last.  I have got to get off the flat SCT to run and bike some hills over the winter.  I was so tried when I finished I didn't even look at the clock, so I have no idea how I did time-wise.  But WTH, it's a PR anyway.

Congrats David!!  Hills through the winter will help.

So, based on my wife's concern about a "specific and credible threat" of a car bomb in NY or DC and the fact that the swim was already cancelled, I decided to scratch the Nations Tri tomorrow. But I picked up a HIM on Oct 2 as a replacement (part of the negotiation with the wife). Looking forward to more time tracking our IM Moo participants instead.

I scraped that race last year. 2nd to last wave  (33 of 34) on a changed course that was too narrow and had 2 180 degree turnarounds and 7000+ racers! No way! Then it rained the whole time. Glad I was not there!

Home from my race.....got CREAMED by my men!  Oly distance......Jeff did a 2:34; Zach did a 2:37.  Zach WON his division, and was the youngest competitor in the entire race.  Me: 2:51.  I'll work on my rr - but I, yet again, got 4th.  no podium.  Undecided

Did get my name announced, lots of times, as the mother of the youngest racer!!

Time to go rest up, tough day of tracking ahead.

GO, LADIES!!!!!

Suzy has been the best ever and we are going to do this! I couldn't figure out how to link my athlete tracker, but if you go to Suzy's, you'll see my name on the side.Pink shoes for sure, black shorts, my top is a sleeveless charcoal grey with white on the sides. Orange and pink are too clashing Julia! Thanks again you guys!
