Friends - I have officially changed my BT name to Kenott.

I decided I can swim now and the negativity towards swimming in general needs to stop.  I am actually enjoying it now.  I don't suck at swimming any longer, I am just a tad slower than average and getting better.  Decent progress for 6 months of working at it.

I've decided:

I kenott walk during gosh dang sprint races any more
I kenott forget that training is important, but not everything
I kenott forget my wife got me into this darn addictive sport and love her for it
I kenott stop trying to place in AG
I kenott stop trying to beat the Justins
(nothing but love for both of ya - only people I know within reach when I have a great race)

I kenott stop trying to get an M Dot some day

If you would be so kind to add my new name to your friends list I would appreciate it - sorry for the trouble.

OFF TO BRISTOL, TN to be a redneck!  GO JEFF GORDON!

Awesome.  Perfect attitude.  However, my list updated automagically, which I would expect when I put my little DBA hat on.

However, your totally going for the wrong driver.  Have fun and so totally jealous

Great job honey!!!  What Ken refuses to realize is that 6 months in he is WAY ahead of where most of us were 6 months in.  Kinda scary!

Kim - I couldn't agree more about your driver comment - who is yours?

It has been a day!  Got up earlyish and had the embroidery machine going before 7am to stitch an order of six pieces that had to be shipped priority today.
In the kitchen helping #2 make Betsy Balls for his band buddies, they are volunteering up at the school tonight to show the incoming Freshman around.
Then it was over to Quilt Works with #3 and #4 to meet with the Brownie Troop and make a tote bag.  Of course I'm the only Mom there with 2 daughters going back and forth between machines.  Then I had a clever idea to alter the bag and everyone wanted me to do theirs too.  Oh and by the way will you embroider all the girls names on them?  SURE.
Home, made lunch for the crew and took off on my bike for a 48 mile solo ride - hot, rainy, windy, sweaty, hard, did I mention it was hot?
Home, #1s girlfriend is here - so there is yet another kid to make dinner for.
Take #2 up to the high school.
Shower.
Make dinner for everyone and put in Wall-E.
I would LOVE to have a beer but have yet to find out if #2 and #1s girlfriend can get rides home.
I am ready to pass out!

I am pretty sure there is a 24 hour rule when it comes to coaches posting training so I am sure I am OFF tomorrow!!!!  LOL - not likely.

Right there with you Kim.  Also a Tony fan and I like me some Happy Harvick.  As long you're not a fan of either of the Busch brothers it's all good!

Wow...I thought I had long days.  Not so much compared to you!  I'm tired just reading all that.  Although I will say, I find that I much more productive when I have a super busy schedule.

Speechless?  Or so overwhelmed with emotion you're verclempt?

Oh, I see, you were so excited you just tripped all over yourself and double-posted.

Thanks!  I'm havng half of an anxiety attack about it, but once I calm down, I think I'm going to be really excited.

I met a woman on BT who goes to my gym and who is also racing.  She's super fun and we're at similar training levels, so I think I might have found a training buddy.
