Congratulations to all the racers this weekend....awesome job ladies keep pushing !!!!

May last race of the season is done

Ok my tri turned into a duo, contamination in the reservoir from all the rain. First part was a quick 1.5k, sprint...then 14 mile ride and 5k. New PB on the bike course for the race by 7 mins, and 2 mins on training rides. Also excited about the run, beat my previous record by 7 mins.

The big question is how would I have done if there was a swim...oh well it is all good, makes me want to keep racing.

Ok maybe it wont be my last race of the season...or should I end on a good note.

Suzy and Kim are riding strong and nearing the end of the bike portion!  So excited for them.

I had a good 21 mi. ride this afternoon followed by a 2 mi. brick run.  I'm really proud of myself and wanted to share with the MG.  On the bike ride, I had what's becoming all too common.  I was riding up a hill and another vehicle was coming toward me when a truck came from behind and squeezed in between us.  Here's the "proud" part.  I lifted my right hand off the handle bar and was just about to "signal" the truck, but didn't.  I showed SO MUCH SELF CONTROL FOR ME!!!  Cool

Hopefully in a short while the Ironman website will provide an 8.9 mile split for Kim.
