Just noticed your new avartar.......are you showing off you're body paint?

I thought it was hamstring stretching.

or snapping the bike back together.....I think in Canada the bikes just snap together

you can't see it too well here.. but I am using a bike tool..

I am a bike tool.

I looked so terribly dejected and on the verge of tears the last time I went to the LBS, the guy did an awesome pro bike fit for free.

I need to bring him something--I dunno, what do guys like as a gift? He's mid-forties, married, with kids. And he manages a bike shop.

What are you adjusting?

I'm taking it apart to put it in the bike box to fly back home.

ahhhh....I havent had to do that yet......I drive mostly and the farthest away has only been about 4 hours.  When I do FL I think I am going to use that place called Biketransport?  All I have to do is take off the pedals

Payment for the fit!

Barring that, pizza will probably work.

I recommend the Dalmore 12 year.  Not too pricey, good quality.

Barring that, case of beer, his choice.  Although, that could get fairly pricey.....

If he's not a drinker, make him one of your delicious dishes.

Twice I've done that with someone I didn't know.  Both times it turned out I was giving booze to a recovered alcoholic.

How about making him chuckle with using that line that goes something like, oh, ya know,

Pffffft ... you underestimate me, sir. I already gave him a big soft lush one right on the lips and said if there's ANYTHING I can do ...

He laughed and patted me on the head. This is why he is a terrific person.

They told me.  No offense was taken, they just politely declined and I was politely embarrassed.  That's why I stick with pizza - even if it appears the person is a recovered fattie.

True story here.  Back in the mid-'80's, I partnered up with this cute American Indian girl (not sure what descent, though) in a couple's dance contest.  We got 2nd place.  The prize was a bottle of some decent whiskey.  Turns out she was a recovering alcoholic.

I'm not making this up, folks.

Was it a "Benny Hill" pat on the head?

Eh. Church is still composed of humans, last time I checked. Too bad you HAVE to get saddled with weirdos, in your position.
