First, how do I get on a team?

Second... I am 197.5 today...Basically the same as last week...I am very disappointed in this.  I know there could be a lot of contributers, but I have been eating healthy, and doing my videos...I think I need to do more...If only I could run!  Ok, I guess I need to be swimming and biking instead.  I am just up and down and all around...(the round part is what bothers me)

third...a friend had a punching bag, and me, him and his girlfriend (um...thats a loose term..and so was she) went a few rounds with it.  I really enjoyed it.  The Y that I will be working at on saturdays has one...but I really don't know how to use it...I was going to say that I punch like a girl...but I know to many girls who could beat the crap out of me...so that statement doesnt work.

Nice!!

I live on the western side of Michigan about 30 min from Lake Michigan. I live in the second most conservative county in the US. No alcohol sales on Sunday around here peeps. But no worries everyone crosses the county line and drinks in there basements so we're all good.

My inlaws live in Grand Rapids...and my FIL is soooo funny. Anytime a democrat gets elected from MI, my FIL says "How could this happen? No one I know voted for a democrat!!!"

Hee hee. He's probably right.

So ok..last week 154.6..today 155.2.

I am actually fine with my numbers given that between weighings, my high was 156.6 on Sunday. So I went up..and now am coming back down.

Next week..I will be below 154.6!!

I am in Maryland :-)

I live about 15 min from downtown GR but if anyone outside of Michigan asks where I live, I'll just say Grand Rapids.

Fair 'nuf. They're actually in Wyoming, MI - have you done the 5/3 Riverbank 25K or the GR marathon?

I'm hoping to do one of those in '09...actually, I'd love to do Steelhead someday, but there's a little too much coordination involved for that.

My territory for work is all of Wyoming and a lot of the surrounding areas. I am about 15 min from Wyoming.

I have done the 25k I think 10x, GR Marathon 2x and Steelhead last year and will be doing it again this year. Small world huh?

Hi, I know I've been kinda absent recently but a lot going on- as to the "around the world" race I think it's a great idea so I'm in.

I had a swimming workout with my tri club last night and it was really tough- I only did 3/4 of what everybody else did- I sort of survived the whole thing and didn't leave earlier but I'm definitely the weakest. We're doing running today and this is what I'm the worst at. Also it's the third day I've been having a headache, well migrene for the first 2 days but today I think it's only a headache, and this is not too great either. Actually as I'm typing this I'm feeling worse and worse so I'm not sure if I'm even gonna make it to this workout tonight.

There are NO losers in TEAM SKINNYland! I give you major props for joining a tri club. I do NOT have the confidence to do that. You have an amazing opportunity to watch techniques and learn from more experienced racers. That's going to give you an amazing advantage on race day!

Trust me, if I can get through a triathlon, ANYONE can with the right training!

Comet talks big, but I think he is a big Teddy Bear (BIG...)...LOL.

Comet,  Like I have said for almost 2 years now:  It is not ALL about the scale, as much as it is how clothes fit and look.

Ceade,  If you were closer and didn't have a headache I would kick your rear.  Loser my butt,  Just with what you have accomplished so far you have done more then most people.  Baby steps and DO NOT let me hear you talking like that again.  Whew,  Got that off my chest.
