kns57 - 2008-06-27 1:59 PM My baby turns 24 this Sunday. I have to come home Saturday from class (8-6) and then make a cheesecake for his birthday. He is coming over Sunday and he said he only wanted one thing. Cheesecake. Oh, cheesecake has a different meaning in my house than it does on Nibbs, so get your minds out of the gutter/bedroom.

Yeah, cause that would REALLY be bad bad....

You know there's pretty good cheesecake at Sam's Club

I must've been on a school hiatus when the cheesecake conversation happened... what's the meaning of it on nibbs?

It's a reference to the bedroom activities...don't remember when it started, I think it was very early in the Nibbs threads but I'm sure Dee, Beth or some other computer guru with a great desire to search the old herads would know when

no need to look it up - Sal started it - LOL

actually I just looked up the Chronicles and I honestly can't quite figure out when cheesecake morphed into it's new meaning

in the beginning it actually did mean cheesecake and Sal was getting a cavity - LOL!

Why do I suspect the lovely Yanti maybe have been involved with the morph?

I just packed up my bag for tomorrow.  I feel like I didn't pack enough, but I have all the stuff I need.  I guess I'm just used to the routine now and don't overpack anymore.

I started mine, have a few things left to take care of.   3 Sports ran out of ladies tri suits for TC...well they do have an XL but I haven't needed tht size in a long time   Going to wear the tri suit/bathing suit probably with bike shorts since their other tri suits were so flipping expensive and I had to buy a new aero bottle since they didn't have just the bands (that I lost last week).   I think this bottle is cool though, it has a lid and 2 sections so I can split water and heed in it too!

I put partial bottles of heed and water in the freezer to add to tomorrow.  Looking for some ties to get the number on the bike with since RMS doesn't give bike numbers with adhesive strips.

If you have zip ties laying around, they work really well (we have a huge container of them from Costco).  I think they used to give out the sticky ones - I remember having one from them for the Richmond Tri in 2005.  They were a huge pain.  Took me forever to get the sticky stuff off the bike.

I survived my OWS. I had to backfloat for a couple minutes, but I swam the rest. No problems!

(RR will get posted later when I have splits. Right now I'm re-caffeinating and thinking about a nap.)

Race was fun today.  I think I cut about 16 minutes off last year's time - based on the race clock - so I am very happy (even though Kristen and Judi passed me on the run).

Had a little scare at the beginning.  Someone had a seizure in the water and we couldn't get the people on the shore to understand to send rescue out.

I must've been on a school hiatus when the cheesecake conversation happened... what's the meaning of it on nibbs?

It's all Sal's fault....

Here's an example:
"Sal and his wife enjoy their cheesecake at night, after the kids have gone to bed. Although, they've been known to enjoy having cheesecake in the morning, as well."

As for the rest, well, as you said- you kind of have to, um... use your imagination.
