1750 yd swim, 45 minute run.  It didn't hurt to run!  Day 4 of marathon recovery...

Congrats on the marathon ,  i was in bits after my last one ,  And i think my big toenail  have almost recovered .

Of course the cool weather is tempting to get up in my mileague and look at another Maraton  but a Bike century would be so much less punishing ...

I was able to get in 11.2 miles yesterday before I started the colon cleanse, and another 3 miles this morning before I left for the doctor. The run today was a real challenge as by then I was just about completely dehydrated and hadn't eaten for almost 2 days. The procedure went well and I should be back to normal by tomorrow.

Good morning, Sunshines!

So my body is not cooperating at the moment but this won't prevent me from meeting my goal 'cause I'm stubborn like that.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

What a gorgeous day out today here in Houston, Clear and 73, planned on 6 miles today but took advantage and went 8 instead.

Totals for the month 32.36 miles of 52; getting close.

The doctor's visit went well. The actual exam is a piece of cake compared to the prep. I felt much better today. I got in a nice run of 11.68 miles.

I had a busy week that ended with a couple of days at the hospital filling the role of guardian for my little sister.  She is ok and I am finally home!  I think that I will indulge in a nap and a hot shower before this evening's event.  I have a run planned in the morning.

It is inspiring me....to go to a sunny and pleasant climate.

In the mean time, I have to bundle up and face the elements for my long run today.

Will someone PLEASE greet me at the end with a warm drink?
