No news is good news, right?

The entire course, including the swim, would be UPHILL!

Well, not necessarily, the swim would be going towards the dam so technically it would be down hill. The bike, lots of up hill, some screaming down hill then some grueling uphill then flat. (a teeny bit of flat). The run would be moderate with some big hills then fun down hills (if they do the "Asheville course") if they do the Biltmore Estate course, it would be equal hills and flat. Any way you cut it, it will be a tough course but absolulty beautiful so you could die in paradise!

Well, it is better than bad news, for sure. It would be nice to have the "all clear" signal though.

I think I am going to take a hiatus from BT.

I have recently been told that I'm not a nice person, and I think that shows here the past few days where my attempt at humor, or even a semi-serious conversation does not seem to have been met well.

It was also pointed out to me that I don't take anything seriously, unless it is about me, and then I'm too serious, which isn't true at all, but I thought my explaination would fall on deaf ears.

These comments didn't come from here, but still, they stung. I sincerly hope that in real life I am not the horrible person I've been told that I am.

I'm sorry if I've recently offended anyone, that was never my intention. I wish all of you all the best in life.

Not sure what is on tap today.  Possibly some strength training or some aerobics.  Or possibly a rest day.  Mostly it depends on how late I have to work, since we are busy this evening.

Now that is good toppage.  It is tough having to wait a little longer for the results, but I am glad that he is cleared to drive. 

Oh Ann, I am so sorry that you have been hurt.  Please don't leave the village.  I don't venture out into the rest of BT very much but I know people can be rude and judgmental.  I think that you are an amazing person!

I agree x 100000 percent. I stay in the challenge thread and one thread in trying for wt loss. I prefer supportive people, not judgmental and negative. There are a bunch of supportive people on BT (especially Ghoulies). Hang in the villiage!

Hope you get a definitive all clear soon. Unfortunately medicine runs a bit on a "no news is good news" code. Bad news tends to get hiked up the notification line.

I venture out but don't tend to comment on things in COJ or stupid flame wars in TT. I've developed a bit of Fred's "Stay out of TT" motto. 

I have a pull up bar I installed to do Australian pull ups. Turns out.... I can only do one.

Got some training to do!

Morning Ghoulies

Happy FFFFriday.

The rain finally stopped here. It rained cats and dogs all night. (The yowling and howling was amazing ) There were a bunch of places that got snow and sleet just to the west of us. Thank goodness we didn't!!!

Today we have some guys to come in and help us dig up azaleas and a couple of other large shrubs and a tree for relocation.

The rain started in again yesterday and is supposed to get worse over the weekend with lots of wind.  It will be interesting trying to get my run in.

I will have to google australian pull ups

That's what we have.  I really like it!

Maybe the rain will make the digging easier.  Easier to dig, harder to stand up.  Have fun.

Hi Dee. The shots are progressing. I am doing the clusters to get over the initial period faster. I can't tell if they are doing any good, except I haven't been sick in over a month and that (knocking on wood) is the longest I haven't' been sick in a long time.

After this month when I get on "regular" schedule,  and have more time, I am going to make an appointment for acupuncture.
