There will be lots of running... again, but the kids enjoy playing and I enjoy watching. If they weren't playing sports they'd be at home doing nothing. Letting them play is a no-brainer. Congrats to Caleb for making the team. I remember how hesitant he had been playing when he first started. This aught to help his confidence Active kids are happy kids, without exception! |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Morning Ghoulies. Happy thanksgiving eve and happy Hanukkah. The snow and stuff was to the west of us, we just got 2.8 inches of rain yesterday so now there are flood warnings. It is supposed to snow today, but no accumulations and high winds. The wind is good because it will dry out the road so little to no black ice, but bad because with all the rain, trees will fall. I hope the power does not go out. I have to go to PT this morning, If I don't get back here today, you all have a fandamtastic holiday! |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Good morning Ghoulies! I forgot to tell you yesterday... Sunday afternoon Caleb and Donnie were going to haul in wood, we burn wood in a woodstove. They had emptied what was inside the shed the last time so they were starting on a pile that was ranked outside the shed. They started pulling wood off and found a HUUUUUUGE bee's nest. Fortunately the bees were frozen. They looked like yellow jackets, but the nest was more mud like a hornets nest, so not sure what kind they are. One day last week that was a little warm Donnie and I were in the driveway and there were lots of somewhat aggressive bees flying around, could have been them. Anyway, they started tearing the hive apart, and pulling the wood out. The hive was about 4' tall, went back about another 2-3' and was 2-3' wide. There had to have been thousands of bees in this thing. I'm glad they found it on a cold day, and not a warm one, it could have been ugly and painful. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Good morning Ghoulies! Got back safe from Texas on Sunday night. It was a nice trip. We did not see much of Texas at all as we played with the grandkids during the day and games at night with the kids. Our son caught a cold day one (Wed) I came down with it on Saturday, and daughter reported that two of the kids came down with it on Monday. So, I am home for the second day in a row. My head is killing me, but I did get cough medicine yesterday from the Dr. and that is helping the cough. The head is easing off, not as bad a it was yesterday, but I figured no point in going in. Instead I'll work on xmas presents at home today. I ordered matching PJ's from Pajamagram last night for Xmas.

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Originally posted by ironannekidd Good morning Ann, the trip went well. I'm so glad that I chose the later flight on Sunday (6:45pm instead of 12:30pm). When we got to the airport gate, the earlier flight was delayed and they weren't going to leave until maybe 9:30 that night. I would have been very unhappy hanging around a airport all day when I could have spent it with the grandkids, so I was happy I made the choice i did.Good morning, Kendra. How was your trip? We had a nice Thanksgiving day on Thursday, and then a mini Christmas on Friday. It was nice to do it then. They now get a month to play with our gifts before they open all the rest of the presents, so there will be less present overload on Christmas morning. Well, maybe just slightly less, but our presents will have a starring role until then, LOL. My gift from the kids did not arrive. They have not said what it is, but I know I asked for the Fitbit Flex and I'm pretty sure that is what I'm getting since they got their father the GoPro camera he wanted. Woot! I also got gift certificates to spend at Coldwater Creek. Woot! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. Glad to hear the Pink concert was fun. Edited by kns57 2013-12-03 7:00 AM |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. So I am in the final 3 weeks of this semester for college. I need to write a career plan for my one class. I have read, re-read, and triple read the assignment and I'm having problems. I have a career. I like my career. I have no plans on changing my career. So, I'm not sure how to come up with a plan. I have wanted to be a network engineer for years, and I had a plan to get here, and it worked. So what now? |

Or maybe how you would get to be a network engineer in a different company or field? Good luck. Can you contact a teacher to pose this question? |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies- World Dominion Tour. Good morning Ghoulies! Couldn't sleep so I came in to work a little early. So, is everyone ready for Christmas? I am mostly done shopping for the kiddos. I still have to shop for my nieces and nephews on my side of the family, and I have a few things to pick up for Donnie yet and then I'm done. I have absolutely nothing wrapped, and I don't know when I'll get that done. I'm not good at wrapping, and having loss of fine motor skills it takes me forever to wrap anything. In the past I've recruited help, I don't know if I'll be able to do that this year or not. I could maybe get my dad to come over when I get home from work to do it. He could have the kiddos gifts wrapped before they get home from school. |
