Expert 1022![]() | Subject: RE: Shermbelle's Group Full and training our a$$es offtimdude - 2008-11-19 12:23 AM Well how about Brian and Michael give us a game plan for IMAZ this week. When do you plan to get there, who's coming with you, game day plan, expected time, etc. Good luck this week! Tim I've got an entourage!! My wife, kids, and parents are all coming to Leaving tomorrow, getting there on Friday. Game plan - Swim - Stay out of the way of the 1999 swimmers who are faster than me Bike - Catch up with a few of the 1999 swimmers who got out of the lake before I did Run - Survive In a perfect world, this would add up to a 13-14 hour race. Really good would be: 1:50 Swim, 6 1/2 hr bike, 5 hour run Perfect race: 1:40 Swim, 5 1/2 bike, 4:15 run Good race Make it past the check points before the cut off time, especially the swim. Thanks for the encouragement! I need everything I can get |

Race went horrible for the first 5 hours and then turned around nicely for a decent finish considering the fitness or lack there of that I had. Goal for weekend is to get my race report done. Thanks for the well wishes. |

I guess for as much as people complain about the price of Ironman brand races, they do give you quite the show. I thought everything was top notch and worth the price. |
